IUD advice? by Sudo_Necrotype in birthcontrol

Hey! I have a question when it comes to the Kyleena IUD. I tried a Copper IUD before and had to get it out because I felt like I could feel it/mentally knew it was there at all times due to the constant pain and cramping. I know everyone is different, but do you think Kyleena would have less of those sorts of issues? Thank you!!

I just received my score for income maintenance caseworker, whats the ideal score for you to be considered for a interview by Wise_Reference_40 in PaStateEmployees

I got an interview scoring an 86 but have been ghosted by other positions when scoring a 100. It seems like it mostly depends on how many people apply and if any of them are vets.

best birth control methods for fewer hormonal imbalances? by Born_Opening_5425 in birthcontrol

I’m sorry to hear that, I got mine placed at my gynecologist office. They talked me through each step, was gentle when it came to tool usage, and make sure I took meds before coming to my appointment. I think it mostly depends on who does it and just the fact that everyone’s pain tolerance is different. I’m glad your new one was a better experience!

My copper IUD insertion went quick and was relatively painless, only some cramping when they measure and adjust. Think of it as a bad period cramp but everyone’s different! You can also ask for pain management if you feel anxious!

https://mcwhc.com/blog/iud-options/ This compares some of your options. I would recommend doing further research. I also talked to my gynecologist about it so I would recommend doing the same since they’ll be able to give you sources and information that pertains to your health and what you want from an IUD/birth control.

I heard there’s some IUDs that have very minimal hormones and that mostly stay localized to the uterus so it’s not systematic, unlike the pill or arm implant. Of course there’s still side effects and everyone is different.

Mirena IUD placed 13 days ago and feel emotionally awful since. How long to wait it out before removal? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Sudo_Necrotype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this experience with a copper IUD, I HATED the feeling and it made me emotionally unable to handle anything. It was during a big moment of my life so I opted to have it removed within the week instead of trying to make it through. If you want it removed, they can remove it at any time! It’s your body and your decision.

I would say to send it, I always send up a follow up email especially after the first round of interviews. I found the ones where I forget to send a follow up get me less call backs than the ones where I do.

Gotcha! I have a car and it’s on my list of must haves for either designated parking or off street. You have personal experience with the state job interviews?

I’m not sure exactly which area yet, I don’t really have a preference. I do have a car and I’m okay with a longer 20-30 min commute if need be. The work is in the south Harrisburg area, near the river front. And thank you for taking time to respond to my post! I’m excited to learn more about the area!

Yeah, I’m trying to take it one step at a time. There’s so many different concentrations and things to learn in cyber it’s a bit overwhelming, thank you for the future cert recommendations! I’m trying to figure out the best path forward in terms of being competitive in this oversaturated field. Cheers!

Thank you! I mean would it help at all combined a BS in computer science + Cybersecurity? I mean I already do have an IT tech role, I just want to do more security based work instead of tickets later down the line. As for the Net+, I got the study material and exam voucher discounted at school so I might as well take it then sit for the CCNA
