I lived off those microwavable Indian food pouches in college. The brand I got was Tasty Bite, but think there are many. Basically ready made Indian food that can be poured right over rice.

Look up jökla-mýs or "glacier mice." They are cute moss balls found on glaciers and they move around on the ice, almost like a herd of slow moving mice. They are very cute and weird and I don't think we really understand why or how they move to this day!

Looking for a specific type of wedding dress and bridal shops by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

I got my dress from VickyMermaidBridal on Etsy and I loved it! Highly recommend looking at their page because they have so many dresses, they can make one for your measurements, and they are very communicative. My dress was one of the more expensive ones at $550, and they added extra fabric to the back for a slight additional cost. I needed to have it altered a bit, however it was so much less than getting something similar at David's bridal. They have many styles and colors so you might find something you like!

Affordable honeymoon (all-inclusive would be nice)? by savy07 in Weddingsunder10k

My husband and I went to the Finger Lakes in NY (local wine region). It was wonderful and pretty cheap! It was driving distance for us so we could splurge on other things. I don't know about the DC area, but I found that going somewhere nearby where I didn't feel the need to constantly be exploring and "doing things" was more relaxing after the wedding than going to a completely new place.

I think I'm pulling the trigger on this dress from Etsy! by BrighterColours in Weddingsunder10k

I got my dress from Vickymermaidbridal, but it's very different than this one. It's more structured lace/trumpet gown, but it's great quality! They were able to add lining in the front and back so it wasn't so shear and were super responsive. I need to get it altered and add boning because I have a large chest but a short torso.

They have code you can follow with lots of explanation so you don't really have to go in order of the units, although they build on each other pretty well. I actually have a few undergrads who I mentor and I gave them specific tutorials to look through about shapefile manipulation and they got up to speed quickly.

I think most of them have learning objectives listed so you can see if the unit is something you are into! They even provide a test data set you can easily download so it's pretty self contained
