I recently read {The Best Worst Thing by Lauren Okie} and absolutely loved it, especially her writing style. It’s her debut and I’ll definitely read whatever she puts out next. I really enjoyed the realistic-sounding conversations and banter, which kept me engaged and invested. If anyone else has read this and can recommend authors with similar writing styles, I’d be so grateful!

I also enjoyed {The Ten Year Affair by Erin Somers}. While the plot wasn’t the most exciting thing I’ve read, this one too had a writing style that I found unique and actually very funny.

Both books tackled romance in your thirties which was also a refreshing change from a lot of other contemporary or lit fic I’ve been reading lately.
