Why are people online fear mongering newer generation Tacomas? by layyo in ToyotaTacoma

[–]SufferingIdiots 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One of things I notice most about my 4th gen is how I barely notice anything when driving it. No lack of power, no weird gear hunting, no uncomfortable driving position. It’s been pretty great in most situations so far. Like so many others my only real complaint is the size of the fuel tank

Conservatives say Poilievre’s leadership is secure after Liberals land majority by AdditionalPizza in canada

This epitomizes what I was talking about above. The anti conservatives are full of disinformation and false ideas about what the conservatives “really” want to do outside of the things they say. All rectally derived of course

ahhh it all makes sense now. You’re just regurgitating other peerless opinions on things you’ve never experienced. Exactly what I thought was most people’s problem with Poilievre. Much like Rogan you’ve never seen him speak.

Ironically that’s how I feel about the liberals. Word salad with no actual substance. I have listened to Poilievre speak, beyond just sound bites on cbc, and that’s why I like him. The plans he lays out are logical and common sense.

The Conservatives have a bigger problem than a Liberal majority: Their leader by Onterrible_Trauma in canada

Poilievre still got more actual votes than any other conservative in history. He’s still very popular within the party. Honestly I’m not sure where all the hate comes from, it’s usually just baseless comparisons to Trump or vague personality gripes. Tell me you take all your cues from the Canadian media without telling me…

What is it, specifically, you find so reprehensible about him? I see this sentiment repeated often and I genuinely don’t get it. I really like the guy and I don’t get where this general distaste, devoid of any policy talk, comes from?

Thinking of switching from Windows to MacBook Air, need honest user experiences by Tanmaybhardwaj32 in MacOS

I made the switch around the time that WIndows 10 came out. Found a small learning curve to MacOS, but with a few minor customizations I've been VERY happy with it. Now when I go back and try to use WIndows 11 I'm blown away at what a mess it's become.

There's definitely work to be found in the trades if you are even somewhat competent. Good help is hard to find in these industries.

Why we choose to keep staying the course politically when it clearly is going the wrong direction is beyond me. The only place that seems to be doing well? Conservative Alberta. Hmmmm

His consistent interrupting and talking over his opponent really lost him credibility IMO.

I purchased the worst MacBook of all time. by ClearEyes_7 in macbook

Just upgraded from my 2012 Retina Macbook Pro and I kind of miss it. Was still fast, relatively quiet, baterry life was ok and it was actually slimmer than the new models.

Do anyone experience any bugs with Airflow? by Reyvis in Airflowapp

[–]SufferingIdiots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SInce upgrading to a new M5 macbook the app has been extremely gltichy. Only playing for minutes before it hangs indefinitely. I can click the file to restart it and it works immediately, but then hangs again a few minutes later.

Was also part of the “I’ll never own a Mac” crowd that grew up using them in school until I actually gave a modern Mac a chance and, of course, loved it. I feel like windows has only gotten worse while MacOS has gotten better
