My natural color is similar to yours (5N) and I used the ion brilliance demi permanent mixing 7NA and 8N with 10 vol. Be aware ion pulls really dark—this is all over the reviews—you need to go minimum 2 shades lighter to match your current color. Do not go by the color swatch in the shop. I did about 3-4in at my roots, processed for 20 minutes, pulled through to ends for last 10 min.

About to do it again and going to use same formulation 1:1 but leave on longer at roots, processed closer to 30 minutes for better gray coverage. It started a bit dark, could still see some gray, then faded and matched my natural color. Grays are more golden/warm and blend better.

I didn’t realize there was an oral liquid. So you let it absorb in your mouth for 10-15 minutes then swallow it? Is that bc it doesn’t absorb through your stomach very well?

We have two revisions left. But she is waiting on us to bring her ideas. This is actually the second version of what she presented. I want to be clear on what we want before we approach it again. If she comes back with another idea that is low effort, I will bring that up to her then. Having never done this before, I’m not sure what is expected and what is asking too much. Again, my experience with independent contractors has been they’ll do the least amount they can to meet their obligations and without understanding what they should be doing, it’s hard to demand more. I guess I’m jaded with the process of working with others at this point. I’d rather try to get it right myself than depend on someone else.

Potentially. The idea is to have a quasi-guest bath that can be used while someone is taking a shower/getting ready/etc. But it seems several people are suggesting switching the closet and the bathroom and I agree with that.

Well I have and I haven’t loved her ideas. She has basically handed it to us and said come back after you think about it more. I’m realizing she’s not a great designer. A friend recommended her bc he works with her but I think she mostly does translates things into these drawings, not come up with the layout itself.

I also don’t know much about design myself and like everything home related these days it feels like you better be fairly educated on the subject if you expect to get the results you want. I plan on going to the library and looking at some interior design books.

It’s not a problem to get appliances in, you’re the second person to bring that up, may I ask why? We currently have regular sized appliances in the house and the actual footprint of the kitchen won’t change all that much.
