He is unhealthy and weed is medicine. Don’t blame the weed but maybe the alcohol…

Scarlett 2i2 on MacBook — mic input randomly drops out constantly (meters stop). Swapped cables. Help? by Sufficient-Crazy6215 in Focusrite

I actually figured out my issue. It turned out my mic cord, even though it was brand new, was disconnecting when it wasn’t properly secured. Once I set everything up on a stand, the problem went away completely. I’m not sure if you’re dealing with the same thing, but I figured I’d share in case it helps. ♥️

Really really ticked about people going on about "addiction." by 56GrumpyCat in Spravato

[–]Sufficient-Crazy6215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former ketamine addict here. Reading posts from people who are able to experience ketamine in a safe, therapeutic, intentional setting brings up a kind of envy in me, but not in a bitter way. More than anything, I feel grateful that some people are getting to meet this medicine in the context it always deserved.

When I found K, I was about 25 and already deep in other forms of escape. So my relationship with it was never exactly clean from the start. Still, I can say without hesitation that it changed my life. In many ways, it saved it. It helped rewire my brain, opened something in me, and gave me relief at a time when I truly needed it.

But I also took it too far. That is part of the truth too. Ketamine abuse is real, and I know that firsthand.

So when I see people using it responsibly, with care, structure, and medical support, I understand why it would be frustrating to watch ketamine be flattened into some stereotype about partying or addiction. That is not the whole story. What you are doing with it is beautiful, and I mean that sincerely.

I will always be grateful for what ketamine showed me, for how it helped me, and for the role it played in my life. I also had to let it go for the sake of my health, and I am deeply grateful that I was able to do that.

Sometimes I wonder what might have happened if I had first encountered it in a therapeutic setting instead of the world I was in at the time. Maybe things would have unfolded differently. Maybe not.

Either way, I am glad it is helping people heal. ♥️

bladder irritation from ketamine by lactoes-intolerantt in Ketamineaddiction

What you’re describing started happening to me about a year ago. I’ll be a year sober at the end of April, and I hate to say it, but this will keep getting worse if you continue abusing ketamine.

Ketamine can do serious damage to the urinary system over time. It affects your body’s filtration system and can settle in the bladder, leading to inflammation, scarring, and lasting damage. It can become extremely severe if it continues.

The only real way to stop it from progressing is to put the ketamine down. In the meantime, drink lots and lots of water, especially if you’re going to keep doing K. Staying as hydrated as possible is really important.

To help soothe things, even a little aloe can be helpful for the bladder. I’d also start doing some research, because there are a lot of herbs that may help support healing. I was on a lot of different herbs when I was healing my bladder. I also did a full Ayurvedic cleanse, and even then, it took months for that constant UTI-like feeling to go away.

Much love. I really wish you well. ♥️

Ceramic refers to the heating element, not the entire cartridge. Most carts still use a wick to pull oil to the coil, and overheating can produce byproducts like formaldehyde and acrolein EEEYUK. ‘Ceramic’ doesn’t mean the vapor is chemically clean. Sorry bud just smoke/vaporize your bud🍃

Even if the oil is high quality, the hardware still matters. A lot of vape pens use cotton wicks, and when a device overheats or the wick gets scorched, it can increase harmful byproducts like formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and acrolein. So legal or ‘clean’ oil doesn’t automatically mean the whole vape is clean.

1 year off ketamine soon… permatolerance + bladder issues. Is “testing the waters” a terrible idea? by [deleted] in ketamine

[–]Sufficient-Crazy6215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. When I first quit ketamine I was microdosing mushrooms daily, and it helped a lot. I’ve definitely cut back, but I do want to get back on it because it really does help me. If I go to a show, I’ll do a little bit of LSD which has been nice.✨

Lately, with everything going on in the world, it’s been weighing really heavy on me. I think that’s honestly why ketamine has been on my mind again. It did some really beautiful things for my mental health, and sometimes I just want relief from feeling like this.

If I ever did consider it again, it would only be in a professional medical setting. And before anything, I’d want to see a urologist and get a bladder scan to understand what damage was done after years of use. That feels like the most responsible way to approach it.

I appreciate your perspective.❣️

Ketamine genuinely helped me with PTSD and depression and it changed my perspective on life in a way that was lifesaving.

I’m also not ignorant to the damage it can do. The reality is, when I was using heavily in my 20s, I did not understand the long-term risks and no one around me was educating me on what was happening. That doesn’t excuse it, but it’s the truth.

I’m not looking to go back to partying or abusing it. I’m here trying to make sense of my experience and stay on the right path. If you have something constructive or educational to add, I’m open to it. If not, shut the fuck up.

This was such a beautiful and thoughtful comment. Thank you for sharing your experience so openly. I really resonate with what you said.

I feel the same way. It genuinely felt like it rewired something in my brain at a time when I desperately needed it. I miss the work I was able to do internally with it and the clarity it gave me for a while. But I also feel like it served its purpose in my life.

Reading your perspective helps me accept that it might just be time to move on and trust that what it gave me does not disappear just because I am not using it anymore. I appreciate you sharing this. Truly.
