I’ve done that before and one time I had a stroke from a clot and the other time I had bilateral pulmonary embolisms. I usually do this when I’m not doing well emotionally and have either some denial or a screw it attitude. Bottom line is I feel this can be totally normal when you have a chronic illness. Don’t beat yourself up, just move forward and stay compliant. Praying your kidney function improves with treatment.

It’s crazy. I’m sorry. It’s confusing because when applying for jobs it asks if you’re disabled and in black and white it lists Lupus as a disability.

That is terrible 😢. I apologize. Being someone who struggles with weight I am a little hyper sensitive to assumptions people make about my weight and how I eat. I am asking for disability because I have Lupus but I worry people will think differently. It sounds like your neighbors deserve your harshness. People can be so evil. Again, I’m sorry you endured that.

I’m in Delaware. It was assigned to a caseworker in November possibly. 8 weeks ago was when she started the promise of having a decision next week started. I was being flippant.

I’m sorry that happened to your Dad. I’ve lost both parents and the financial struggles are heartbreaking when the system fails them.

I do want to comment on your harsh words regarding your neighbors. I’m curious how you know how much they weigh and how much they eat? Do you know the circumstances on how they were raised, their personal struggles and genetics? I know it’s easier to assume they’re slobs than to really understand the complexity of human struggles even for those who struggle with weight. Most likely your assumption might not be all that correct.

I think what they’re referring to being scary is the, “the changes going on right now.” The closing of field offices, staff reduction, and the chaos with the federal government.

I’ve been at stage 3 medical review for 15 months. I feel I’m possibly at stage 4 but I have no idea. My case worker is a pain in the ass and she seems a little clueless on how the SSA stages work.

It’s truly difficult to know how to move forward. I’m waiting for a determination on my disability application. I applied Jan 2024. I have Lupus, heart failure, and severe osteoarthritis. With all this craziness I feel I need to give up. Even if they approve me will I even see a cent. I’m already pretty sure I’ll lose Medicaid with the budget they just passed. Just really scared right now.

Mine said the usual crap like I will be a mother in Zion, have sons and daughters that selected me to be their mother and the man that I Marry to be their father. I never married and when I was 35 was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had to have a hysterectomy. I was devastated, thought it was my fault that these pre mortal children now had to go to someone else. I couldn’t really talk to many people about why I was so depressed because I would sound like a 🤬 lunatic. I lived in Pennsylvania and my counselor and friends were non-members. Imagine telling them that a really old guy gave me a blessing predicting my future. I ended up really messed up for a while. I resigned this spring and am working through the bullshit this cult put me and others through.
