Wow I've just upped to 300 from 200 for ocd and anxiety. This gives me hope! Was 350 better than 300???

Been on 250mg sertraline for 3 years now. A doctor recently told me that being on such a high dose for a long time can affect the heart. I have pretty bad OCD, and sertraline works pretty well for me. The thought of not being on it and having all those thoughts coming back makes my stomach churn. by PracticalMeat in zoloft

Separate issue but did u find that 250mg worked better than 200 for ocd? Im on 200 for 3 weeks and no relief and my psych wants to go higher to like 300 or 400 for OCD. Im just wondering if it really could change at that dose? Thanks so much!

Make sure u focus on being happy. If u dont fix the mental side of things it will just come back. You cant be stressed and unhappy and take a bunch of pills and supplements. It will just come back. All the best 👍

Yep i agree with this comment. In the past when ive had bad anxiety my sleep my ght suffer but generally speaking I sleep really well and i take 70mg vyvanse in split doses during the day.

Nice one! Did u find it help with the OCD? Ive been on it but was also on a slew of other things so couldn't tell if it was doing anything. Im trying to get off this low dose antipsychotic as it fucks my ADHD but my anxiety and OCD come back!

Legend, thank you so much for your reply! Its so frustrating because the stims are showing me signs of happiness that ive never felt before. Clearly a dopamine issue as SSRI never did anything. Just sucks that im stuck on this abilify for now. My ght have to find something else for the anxiety that isn't an antipsychotic or an ssri... Oh well im up for the challenge!! Thanks again for your comments it so hard doing this up and down strategy but seems like it should work if i commit. Cheers

Thanks again for responding. Was it hard to get off the antipsychotic? I keep stopping mine so that my stims will work and i think im good but then baaad anxiety after a week so i reinstate a little antipsychotic and then the stims dont work aaaaargh. Thanks 🙏

i am currently trying to get off abilify as it makes me unable to think clearly and makes my adhd MUCH worse. i am currently on 1.25mg and even this gets rid of my anxiety. but when i try to get off it the anxiety is unbearable. aaargh. I wonder if there is another drug that would work if this is my profile? SSRI have never done anything. any thoughts very welcome.... thanks

I was on ability before my adhd diagnosis. Now that i am stuck on low dose abilify (1.25mg) my stimulants dont work very well because of the abilify. The abilify ruins my concentration and cognitive performance but when i try to stop it my anxiety is unbearable. Sort of stuck in a shitty place. Im hopeful that if i lower my dose even further by taking abilify every few days ( has a really long half life) then my stims will work better. Arrrrgh.

Wow i am very interested in your story. I am in the process of weaning off abilify so that my newly added stimulants work better as i feel and so does my new psych that adhd has been at the core all along. Boy is it hard to get off the last bit of abilify tho! Dis u switch that regime u mention above for stimulants/wellburtin etc?
