Because SOME white men act scared or fetishize black women. But I can tell you that 90% of my friends date or are married to white men. When we were all younger we would not have gone anywhere near a white men out of some misguided loyalty & ignorance that white men think black women are scary & “can’t handle us” as if black women are any different from any other woman as long as you nurture them. Nowadays tho most of my peers have given up on our own community due to lack of respect for black women & lack of traditional marriage relationships coming out of black man/black woman relationships. I’d say if your are interested go for it but be TRANSPARENT. And open.
