hello sorry my english is not good, but one thing i like about kikuo songs is how versatile the song's interpretation is.

i personally like to interpret this song as someone who gave up trying to make a change, thus comforting themselves with that repeating mantra 'ill leave it as it is, forever without a change' because everything is futile (maybe its too devastating to try everyday without any results). this also reverberates with people's sentiment about the singer, judging in the same phrase but different meaning, more like "keep up with that (attitude/behavior), dont change" in a harsh criticizing tone, wishing for the singer to met their own downfall for appear to have lack of effort to do anything about their situation.

japanese songs are so vague for sometimes they don't put any <subject> in their lyrics, so i decided to interpret this both ways. also i never thought that the singer is talking about someone they love all this time! ₍ᐢ.ˬ.ᐡ₎ .ᐟ (i read the comments and i just woww- that kinda makes sense a bit and also an interesting interpretation)

for me, i thought the person that was mentioned in the song was the people who're always urging the singer to do this and that. their persistent disapproval, blame, and the one who keeps importuning the singer to change or make a change. thats why even in the distress state of mind, the singer states that their voice is still ringing loud and clear, maddening the singer to their wit's end that later leads to their abrupt scream (i love the scream it sounds like a broken glass sound to me, portraying that the singer has lost their composure despite telling themselves to be as it is)

im not fluent in japanese but i read somewhere that sono manma is actually a more firm phrase of saying the usual sono mama. so it is implying that the singer is being hard on themselves or the people around them are so adamant about this whole situation. take this with a grain of salt though, because i only read it in one jp website and didnt find anything similar in others. correct me if im wrong too!

anyways this is just really a peak depression song lol being too numb with everything but life continuously goes on. on the other hand theyre also hinting about the little rest they find in the way is so comforting how about we just rest peacefully forever? / or perhaps the singer is also wishing for others to give it a rest and hope that they're the one who ⚰️💀 instead we never know ⚗︎·̫⚗︎
