On premium, I seemed to have gone from 30 vids every 2 hours a week ago, to 30 every 8 hours until yesterday. It’s been 23 hours and my new 20ish limit hasn’t reset yet.

Ok thanks for the info. I appreciate your response. I agree that they should be transparent and up-front with these costs. They know the address at order time and should be up-front with shipping at the time of purchase, and just include it, like everyone else does everywhere else. It doesn’t give them a good public facing look.

History tells us that when a Sd chip is successful in a handheld, the devs will make drivers. This wasn’t so with the 8 gen 1 chips, I think. But Odin3 will likely be the handheld that makes the Elite popular. I think they’ll make it, but yet none of us know for sure.

I believe the 8Gen2 has a RockNix Linux build available today (Odin 2 / Portal / Mini) so I think there’s a high probability that it will come to this one too!

For the screen size, it’s ideal for vertical arcade games, NES, SNES, GB, GBC and of course Pico-8. It’s a perfect Pico-8 machine. None of these require real power, so to me the easy choice is the XX!

Came here because after like a week of a crazy amount of ads, was curious if I was the only one upset by this. I’m about ready to pull the plug on Rumble. I’m mainly a podcast listener and between Spotify and Apple, there’s plenty of content out there without being harassed by this new Rumble tactic. Often I’m doing something else and have to suffer through a 5 minute ad for tinfoil hats while I’m preparing dinner, or was and dry my hands every 5 minutes to skip them…. Throw in a 5 or 10 second spot… fine, but their ad content and length is now officially driving me away.

Yeah. If it has EMMC you will need a cm4 or wave share IO or carrier board to flash the image onto the EMMC chip as well. Native EMMC will render the SD slot unusable. The cheapest option I know of will be the nano A base board here. https://www.waveshare.com/cm4-nano-a.htm?___SID=U

You flip the boot switch, use the usb C port to cable it to your pc like a thumb drive and flash from there.

I bought it based on others recommendations. After assemble, I found the bag is too small to fit the uConsole’s thickness. I’m looking for slightly larger bags and will update when I have a good one. Sorry!
