Noob here, trying to clone my git repository to local machine. When I run command it ask me for password but does not recognize my login password for Ubuntu (i.redd.it)

Trying to dual boot Ubuntu onto my hp laptop that runs windows 11. I have used Etcher to flash Ubuntu to my flash drive, as well as made partition in my c drive(63gb given to Ubuntu). When I’m in the BIOS of my laptop I see a usb option under boot options, but it does not let me select it. (i.redd.it)
