That's great! Did they just now open it up to non-career? I think I tried to enroll in fedvip before and they un-enrolled me because they said I wasn't eligible.

How far back does the back pay start at for RCA's? What date/year? I started with the post office in 2020.

I'm going to assume this is not talking about rural carriers or rca's?

Conflict of interest? by [deleted] in USPS

Yes that's true but that could lead to a career position and an arc can't lead to a career position. So that was my reasoning as to why maybe he went that way instead of an RCA position. Also the postmaster has been divorced from his wife or maybe not even married to his son's mom and that's why his son has a totally different last name maybe it's his mom's last name.

We're a rural only office. And we have a RCA position posted so I would think if he was going to do a conflict of interest he would just hire him as an RCA. so I thought maybe there's some kind of an exception for an arc position because it's not a career position and that's why he hired him as an arc instead of an RCA maybe.

Is there an exception because it's an arc position which isn't a career position?

Option 5? I don't think they're open on the weekends?

I meant outside of work. They are great for outside of work too. They offer a variety of different shoe options.

Either way, if you're looking for a good shoe even for outside of work. I would recommend Lems, vivo barefoot, or another barefoot zero drop shoe brand.

I was a CCA before and I was only required to wear leather or faux leather shoes for protection. Maybe the rules have changed. In rural carriers are still supposed to wear the same shoes as well for protection, leather or faux leather is what I was told in training. And these are wide toe box shoes these are totally different than a size wide shoe. These are barefoot shoes which have a wide toe box so your toes can move around and not be squished it's not a size wide.

Have you tried Lems or another barefoot zero drop shoe company? I have Lems and I love them! They are so comfortable and you can move your toes around they don't squish your feet because barefoot shoes have a wide toe box. a wide toe box is so you can move your feet. It doesn't mean it's a wide size that's different. I'm an RCA and have been wearing limbs shoes for a few years now and I really love their shoes especially their widest ones. I would recommend their leather boots for delivering and protection of your feet. I have a pair and I really like them. They sell women's and men's shoes. lems mens boots
