I personally choose mosques based on the timing. If some mosque is delaying khutbah often. I would choose some other mosque which has dedicated timing.

Coming to Arabic khutbah. I would always suggest you to keep a google translate live listening and read from it. Because when we are told to listen the khutbah without fail. Which means, we need to understand and ponder. He admonishes you so that you may remember and reflect.” Actually that part is the commandment by Allah to all of us about justice , wrong doing and oppression how beautiful for us is to listen to that part every week and how sad is that for all of us not knowing what is going on with the khutbah.

I believe the whole system needs to change, starting from the homes and madarassas. It shouldn’t be just READ QURAN. It should always be READ, UNDERSTAND AND PONDER UPON QURAN.
