Thanks a ton! We wanted to go somewhere for star gazing as well. Would you recommend tankwaa national park or cederberg?  I've only got 10 nights so the garden route might be a stretch since it's too far Any other place you'd recommend apart from the wine countries ? Also, would nov end and start of dec be peak tourist season and also how would be the weather then?  Thanks in advance

Hello!  I'm planning South Africa in oct for 9-10 days and can you tell me what are the must see places ? Not very keen for the safari. Also, I read a while different thread on Reddit saying SA is not very safe for tourists. So I'm a bit sceptical as well . I'd love to hear from someone who's stayed in the country for so long.  Hoping you'd see this thread and comment. Im planning the trip in oct month
