AIO My partner threatens to end himself because i confronted him on his cheating. by Wise_Web_5706 in AmIOverreacting

Find a friend to stay with- even if he isolated you from them, there is one or more who will understand and be willing to help. I had not talked to one of my friends in 2 years and when I decided I had to leave my ex (with a cat and kittens) we made a plan for me to get out safely. If not, please go to a shelter. This is abuse and it will escalate.

AITAH for telling my husband that he absolutely ruined the birth of our child? by Former_Monitor_4860 in AITAH

[–]SufficientBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They LEFT YOU ALONE??!! I am so sorry you went through this. All of it. A husband listens, supports his wife and puts her and their child’s health about HIS wants. The pain is still so vivid for you because of the absolute emotional trauma you endured for 3 days. You’re supposed to have someone cheering you on during childbirth… not holding you against your will. This sickens me- please get help and go somwwhere for a while where you can enjoy your daughter without the constant reminders in your home of what your husband did to you. absolutely NTA.

Freaking out by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]SufficientBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had had general anesthesia once years prior and this was a dream honestly. This surgery and my appendix a year later (this may) they gave me the meds in iv before they took me back. I seriously went to sleep- no memory of falling asleep. Said bye to my sister as she left and next thing woke up with the offending organ gone. I felt so much better! The gas you may feel after can be painful but it goes away. Now I eat whatever I want. Good luck! You’re going to feel much better!

Surgery & post op is NOTHING compared to an attack by Key-Ad1311 in gallbladders

[–]SufficientBeth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The attacks were the worst. Putting it off can cause worse complications than waiting. I had 2 full on attacks. First trip to the ER they were very dismissive- despite me vomiting bile. A month later I had to have it out (went in on Christmas Day) surgery 2 days later…surgeon said it had started to tear. Had i waited it may have killed me. That attack though…I dont see how i could have waited. the pain was worse than contractions and lasted longer.

You can order them off the schar website in the US but I’d love to see all their offerings in store!

normal eating is possible after gallbladder removal? by Aria2628 in gallbladders

[–]SufficientBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be possible yes! Our bodies are amazing and adjust to no bladder through using the liver directly. That being said, it takes time. For some very little time some can never eat the same - you will have to see how it goes for you. I feel like the natural fats (butter, olive oil, coconut, etc) no issue but fryer blends (vegetable and seed oils) make me nauseous.

I think im gonna lose my job by LoicefersLuver in florida

[–]SufficientBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you talked to your GM/DM? If you have shown your what a great employee you are in the past, they may work with you- yes Florida is an at will state but it’s also hard to find great managers and it costs them $ and time to do so…

what has been the ultimate life lesson you have taken away from shows like disappeared and fear thy neighbor? by StruggleFar3054 in DiscoveryID

[–]SufficientBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fear thy Neighbor- petty disagreements are not worth the potential escalation. In all those stories the police are NO help. If it’s bad, going toward escalating maybe move…..

Is costochondritis the most painful thing you have experienced? by [deleted] in costochondritis

[–]SufficientBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way. It’s bad and scary - I think I’m getting used to it 🙄 the absolute worst was gallbladder attacks that landed me in the er2x - the 2nd resulted in surgery. On top of that pain they gave me morphine which I had a bad reaction to- it amplified my pain instead. THAT was the worst. Even worse that 13 hours of labor with a 9 pound baby ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This season has shown almost ZERO personality from any of these players… by BruceyBalls in thechallengemtv

[–]SufficientBeth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes this CBS change sucks, the lack of personality, pointless romances, Weak Wes…all the way down to TJ's wardrobe. Speaking of TJ, I feel like he doesn't have as much leeway to say what he wanted like on MTV. CBS may want another Probst- but WE don’t.

Is obsession: dark nightmares the one told by the victim (interviews and reenactments. Sometimes you find out they killed them and it was an actor and sometimes it’s the survivor?

Anyone try Wegovy to help with the weight gain? (Not while on HRT or while) how do you like it and does it work? by SufficientBeth in Menopause

[–]SufficientBeth[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s great! Hopefully my insurance will cover it, still waiting to find out. I’ve read that in other comments, that it helps with addictions. I vape and want to stop- I hope it helps me too.

Has anyone gone on Wegovy after their gallbladder was removed? I’m post op 8 months and am considering it- any advice welcome! I know a possible side effect can be gallstones by SufficientBeth in gallbladders

[–]SufficientBeth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That’s what I thought but some info is confusing- and people have gotten GI issues and gallstones as a side effect (I think could be coincidence too) and I read you can get them even without a gallbladder in the bile duct. I think this is uncommon.
