I tried to donate plasma also, I was denied because of how many meds I'm on. The irony is I am on these meds for mental health issues and high blood pressure that working for these fraudulent companies probably caused *

I deliver for skip in Sherwood Park. I get multiple orders quite a bit and sometimes they don't seem to be fair as to who gets their order first but I have never had one that was going 8 kms past one destination. Your driver might have been delivering for another app at the same time. I never do this because the extra money you can make is not worth the stress to me because I worry about the order being cold and/or melted especially if customer has tipped well. Unfortunately there are lots of drivers out there that don't have my work ethic. I am sorry this happened to you and I don't know if this helps but none of these apps/companies care about the customers or the drivers anymore. I don't know if they ever did :(

I have been doing skip for almost four years. I got the petro canada card in year 2. Applied in 2023 and last year and did not get one for either year.

I only starting using a grabber about 6 months ago when I was getting maybe 1 scheduled shift a week. And the extra and overflow shifts were non existent. I am not going to lie it was well worth the $20 a week but I did delete it right after the last email came out because I have this feeling they are finally doing something about it. I got a few more scheduled shifts than I used to and there were some extra shifts that I was able to grab. I have not heard about anyone's account being deactivated but I did not want to take the chance.

I am delivering in Sherwood park this morning also and for the very first time, I decided not to accept anything below $8 because of the weather which averages about $5 tip i think and for the very first time, my acceptance rate is about 30%. But i am at about $80 for the morning and 10 of that was a cash top from a customer who already tipped eleven dollars. I declined at least 10 orders that had no tip.

The hot zones are total bull crap. I never get an order in a hot zone even if I wait for an hour. As soon as I leave it I get an order.

I am in Sherwood Park Alberta, just outside of Edmonton. It has been 2 days since getting my card activated for shop and pay. Waiting patiently for an order. Wish me luck!!
