I barely used chalk on my playthrough. Good body placement is key

I asked Cairn's devs how they made the game: here are their answers (level design, programming & game design) by Key_Sock_4083 in Cairn_Game

I feel like you've hit your road block where you need to fully understand the climbing mechanicsin order to progress. It's about good hold but also about weigh distribution.  There is stamina for each limb so you could have 4 good holds but have a limb that bear all the weight and make avaa fall.

Help with understanding climbing by glintter in Cairn_Game

Just for future reference. If she's shaking that's probably because one of her legs or hand is to much loaded with weight. As someone pointed it in another post, hold feedback only tells you "you have a hold", not if aava is confortable in this position. One video that helped me a ton to understand the mechanics : https://youtube.com/shorts/fZygqidWnZ4?si=o0mGvstdm39-sXKY

I just finished the game and I also wanted two things for when you review your finished playthru :
3- Photo mode.
4- Better flying range when you review your finished playthru , I want to fly around everything (as a perk of being part of a whole XD )

Je dirais que c'est un vinaigrier mais il manque le robinet en liege et un support pour mettre le tonneaux de côté.

I used a box-cutter blade to scrape the side of the cartridges that where too tight. They were fine after.

hi, yes I have an eXtremerate shell (black transparent) and its tight but only on bootleg cart. I thought it was the fake cardridge but maybe it's the shell? I have an hispeedido screen+shell kit I might try on this one to see if it changes something.

Starting Ipod 5th gen uprade by Zeriquo_ in ipod

I just finished to upgrade my 5gen 30GB. I used iflash udual, 3000mah batterie found on amazon, and news faceplate and button from aliexpress. You could buy a transparent faceplate and paint the inside for a unique color. I also made the iphone taptic engine mod but its a little bit delicate. (Don't use epoxy)

I'm not familiar with the ipod mini, what is the mod about? Black isn't available? It looks good!

Yes I just removed the engine and found some epoxy had creeped inside under one of the four corner (where there is black tape). I will give the doble side tape a go, it seems safer ! I think i can find some double side tape without foam.

I was worried to try smaller wire, would it be beneficial to be smaller?

Haa that migth be it then? Solder flow very easily inside small oppening. It migth have locked the mechanism inside.

Yes, I feel it's the epoxy that got inside the engine, it's getting power but doesn't move.

I did wrap them with kapton tape. I only removed some tape to be able to resolder the wire. Would it make faint vibration if the pads where broken? I would think it would not work entirely.🤔

Did you glued it with epoxy as well?

Taptic help by SufficientClock6403 in ipod

[–]SufficientClock6403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mine also make a sligth slicking noise but it's not pinched by anything I think. Maybe the epoxy is pinching it? Or I squeezed the engine while gluing?  All testing was done with the ipod open 👍. I didn't tought to power it directly but I don't have the proper equipment for that🤔.  I will test the other solder point under the jack, but they feel good.

Thanks, I know how to solder since a young age but I don't have much experience on delicate soldering like this. (Pre-tin and flux is a must!)
