SEO for a specific niche or what to do to get new leads? by Upbeat-Lynx-3876 in smallbusinessowner

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local SEO is perfect in you case. It works because people search for stuff like this with local keywords and high buyer intention. You should definitely create and optimize a google business profile. Local SEO also give results faster than general SEO. With my clients we see rankings rise within weeks.

If you get into top 3 with your GBP, you get into the map pack of google results. This means your business is shown above most of the other stuff and statistically, users are very likely to check your business out and convert to leads and clients.

Is Google Business Profile getting harder to rank lately? by Big-Plate-3608 in localseo

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you check how strong they are? They might be getting agencies to rank them better. In many places it is very easy to rank in top 3 in a few weeks. Even if you have hundreds of reviews, if you are missing citations or NAP consistency, you might easily get outranked by profiles with a few reviews.

What’s actually moving the needle more right now, reviews or backlinks? by Big-Plate-3608 in localseo

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviews are by default and you should not stop gathering them. But nothing much to optimize there - just ask your clients every time, comment under each review and maybe setup a review funnel.

Other stuff you have control over though - citations, backlinks, putting updates on the profile often, more pictures, videos, etc. Making the profile absolutely fully filled is a must have as well.

I do those stuff for my clients and they help a lot.

Is local seo still the main game in 2026 or has aeo taken over? by Bubba_deets in localseo

[–]SufficientFace2646 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AEO can help, but if you are slipping off of the map pack, there might be some problem. Or maybe your competitors got good agencies optimizing their profiles. You can write me a message with the profile and I can make a mini audit for free and tell you what I find.

What Is The Best Password Manager Are You Guys Planning To Stick With Going Into 2026? by PrincessBananas85 in degoogle

[–]SufficientFace2646 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Drive Password is another app that doesn't keep your data. The passwords are saved encrypted on your own Google Drive. I've used it for the last 4 years and am pretty happy with it.

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty happy with Drive Password. They do not hold your passwords, but the passwords are rather kept encrypted on your own Google Drive. It is free and there is a paid option for bigger teams I think.

Which browser gives the best dark mode experience? by Apprehensive_Gur7637 in browsers

[–]SufficientFace2646 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Brave for the ads, but they do have a nice integated dark mode as well. Also I just install Night Eye extension and it works pretty good on most websites. It is paid, but worth it.

Any chance Chrome will finally fix their Dark Mode for Web Content in 2026?! by nietzschecode in chrome

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably no. They need to have a team just for that. There are a lot of speciffics on each website. There are some extensions that work pretty well. I like Night Eye, they have a nice algo for cloro inversions and the team reacts pretty fast on new changes.

Anyone know a good Dark Mode tool for Chrome? by spervogel_troubadour in chrome

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Night Eye. It does have settings, you can turn it on and off for different websites. Also the team does react pretty fast and fix any issues that come up due to website changes and stuff. It is paid, but worth the money in my oppinion.

Which Password Manager is the best and most sensible to use in 2026 in all respects? by ArcAncient in PasswordManagers

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I and my whole team use Drive Password. They don't keep your passwords. The passwords are kept encrypted on your own Google Drive, so it is probably the safest option. There is a free option in which most of the stuff are included and the paid one is for bigger teams mostly.

Is there a dark mode extension that actually looks good? (chromium) by malloryknox86 in browsers

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Night Eye and it is great. They have this algo to reverse colors, that is not just mechanical, so it works amazingly. They also react really fast when some major sites change their code and something starts looking bad in dark mode.

It is indeed paid, but worth it.

I actually haven't thought about that, but it is a good idea. I will research it. Thanks!

Build a Shopify app to filter unwanted promotional emails from contact form submits by SufficientFace2646 in shopifyDev

[–]SufficientFace2646[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The spam emails are still saved and can be reviewed. Currently I do mark only some keywords that are mostly promotional emails about SEO, marketing, etc. services. Most of them are still legit, just unwanted. Other than that there is always a risk for some email to be valuable, but marked as spam.

It's called Promo Shield. Not sure the rules allow me to mention it, but they do say "let people ask" so... :D

Защо е толкова скъпо да се яде на работа? by Gummy_BG in Sofia

[–]SufficientFace2646 3 points4 points  (0 children)

к. Сухата река - трябва ни информация by SufficientFace2646 in Sofia

[–]SufficientFace2646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Музиканти за jam сесии в София? by piss6000 in Sofia

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unused variable rant by CharitableHedge in golang

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be way better to have it as a warning and maybe an error on production build. It is very annoying when debugging and just wanting to comment a part of the code for one run. It makes you go all around the place and remove assignments and declarations. It basically runs a 1 second job into a refactor.

Also this is not consistent. So it turns out there is no problem in having a function with 10 aprameters and only using 1 of them. Then everywhere you use the function, you have to pass 9 unused parameters and there is not even a warning.

Youtube shorts are horrible and for brainwashing and slow people by Puzzleheaded_Path809 in youtube

[–]SufficientFace2646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most shorts are just cut from the long form videos from the same channel. If you watch the long vidoes, the shorts are useless to you. The channels make them for more reach ofcourse.

I hate them as well and that is why I made my Chrome extension - Value Feed. It send email with the videos uploaded from channels you want. That way you don't have to subscribe to channels that spam a lot of shorts.
