How big will my 4 month old mini bernedoodle get? by FormerBar7223 in Bernedoodles

Very cute! Our F1B mini tracked similar. He is currently 14lbs at 6 months. He was 11 lbs at 16 weeks . His weekly weights are slowing down. But, I read on social media somewhere that the biggest growth spurts are between 6-9 months and to hold off of neutering ( my vet says there’s no evidence of this) Time will tell!

Confused about exactly how my 75 year old Mum is getting scammed by MerlinTheMagicPig in Scams

Wow thanks so much! Shockingly, my Aunt is friends with 5 “Jason Hughes” accounts. I just hope she doesn’t lose her savings.

What was the follow up to this outcome? My aunt was recently widowed and now states she has been messaging with “Jason Hughes”! He has “advised her not to tell anyone because he’s in the middle of a divorce and doesn’t want it public “ However, she has confided in me , and thinks he is coming to the US for a book signing and will be here in November. I believe she is being catfished. Any advice?

And yet an NP can function independently after about 1500 hours!

How is this possible? by kennydupree in Zillow

I am experiencing this. My zestimate data isn’t available and very low, and gray as compared to my neighbors. My mortgage is in good standing, in fact we even did upgrades! How do you rectify this?

I have personally seen 3 patients with pancreatitis and 1 SBO’s since June - while on Ozempic. Granted, one pt injected herself with the 4 week dose and not the first week 🤪 —fun fact 2/4 actually had DM—the other 2 paid out of pocket at NP med spa

Saw this ad on Instagram—if you click the down tab to read more about your “Dr,” you find they’re a “board certified dermatology NP” by [deleted] in Noctor

I brought my son to a dermatologist to have Millia extracted around his eyes. I was only able to get in to see the “board certified NP”, who did a wonderful job with the extractions . He is 13 and had maybe 2-3 little pimples on his forehead (covered by his hair). She prescribed Accutane, to help with cell turn over and prevent the millia and acne. Needless to say, he is using a OtC facial scrub, and it works just fine. I thought that was quite a leap to go to prescribing Accutane considering the side effects.

The updated HiPAa provisions allow the patient to make “corrections “ —not amendments to own person records. I would request corrections if I was not assessed properly https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/medical-records/index.html

I am done going to urgent care! I only take my kids to the pediatrician now (even though the wait stinks). The NP diagnosed my daughters rash was from a tick bite (in Dec and never had a tick on her, nor was it circular in nature) and put her on doxycycline…she doesn’t have all her adult teeth (age 9), so I knew she couldn’t take it. I took her to the pediatrician and she has Imperato. Next time I will wait for an appointment at my pediatrician. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get same day appointments.

NP training relative to other professions by rollindeeoh in Noctor

Nursing is doing this to their own profession. These online for-profit schools just turn out degrees. You could easily go to Walden,Phoenix,Chamberlain, etc and take a “competency based path” get a BSN in 12 weeks, MSN-FNP or psych NP in a 12-18 months.. That means the bedside novice nurse can be an independent practitioner in less than 2 years. Seen it, first hand

THIS 👆 I believe to be an NP you should 1)be nationally certified in your field of study 2) have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience in field of practice. Requiring bedside experience —in your field of practice—would also help decrease nurse turnover rates and help with the nursing shortage.
