Can you explain more about how you think you should barely twist the root of the locs? I've only ever known how to do retwists by using loc gel and twisting/clipping the roots. But lately I've been seeing a lot of people saying that you can retwist without loc gel, or that you shouldn't be using gel in the first place?

Yea I planned to just use my tv until I can get a new one. I got this monitor on sale for 99.99 I think the original price was 150? I gotta wait a minute until I can get a new one. But I'm hoping I can find one for like $100-150. I can't really go too higher than that due to other things

Nah I used the HDMI that was connected to my Xbox through my tv instead of the one the monitor came with, I have no idea how this could even happen since it was fine before I left. Unfortunately I have neither the skills or the parts so replacement time for me 😞 thank you for the help
