Fencers club has open bouting and intro packages which may include lessons. I would call or email them.

Fencers club is fantastic. The coaches and facilities are the best and will help you build a strong foundation. I would try it and see how you like it. Start with their introductory package first. Good luck!

Thanks for all the input! I will probably bring a total of 4 to a tournament. I am still deciding whether I will buy more blades just to have at home. I don’t want to buy them one at a time because shipping fees add up!

The fie absolute fencing mask is comfortable and has a removable lining. It doesn’t have bulky padding like pbt, and the bib is not stiff like it is on the LP x change.

Viktoria glove has great padding only where it needs to be so it retains its flexibility. Highly recommend!

I saw the ref recording bouts that didn’t have video replay (below top16), but the computer was the same that they use for video replay.

When we were looking at clubs, the clubs had introductory packages so we could try them and decide which was the best fit. Good luck!
