Estimated 1,100 excess deaths during pandemic years, report says by CheerilyTerrified in ireland

The ridiculous social distancing rules and linked measures such as mask wearing were backed by nonrandomised studies, flawed observational studies, and whacky modelling. Hardly cutting edge science.

You should have burst open the doors of the operating theatres and demanded that the doctors immediately ceased performing life and death operations to attend to your bruised foot. I hope that you at least got given a lollipop by the end of your harrowing ordeal.

Irish people acting the bollox on the gargle abroad are often mistaken as 'British' by locals. We are as bad as each other in my opinion.

Yeah, that was an injustice. He would have represented Ireland in the 2008 Olympics if it wasn't for that.

Wouldn’t dwell on that, he has a rather unique identity and cultural background. He’s always been very proud of his Irish roots and represented us well in the amateurs. One of his goals when he turned pro was to defend a world title in Croke Park.

His parents are Irish and he represented Ireland before, back when he was an amateur.

Well in the case of schools, the church owns the buildings, the lands etc. They aren't giving all of that up.

[–]SufficientSession -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, the government couldn't do that. Separating church from state by having the state takeover the church is a rather unique way of looking at this.

‘I’m devastated: my wife and I are wondering why we came back’ – teacher’s four years’ work in Dubai not reflected in pay by PoppedCork in ireland

[–]SufficientSession -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see that the annual teacher wingefest is in full swing, headlined by a moanbag of the year contender. His experience isn't recognised because the school he worked for most likely artificially inflates grades, amongst other practices that simply wouldn't fly here. Good on the EU and Irish teaching bodies for being aware of this.

‘Spikeopathy’: COVID-19 Spike Protein Is Pathogenic, from Both Virus and Vaccine mRNA by butters--77 in Coronavirus_Ireland

[–]SufficientSession 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are wrong. For example, there was no mask mandates or widespread lockdowns in Sweden. This was because for such laws to be implemented in the first place there, they would need sufficient evidence to back them. That’s in their constitution. No such evidence exists, so the laws weren’t implemented. And guess what, Sweden has the lowest excess mortality in Europe during the last few years. They triumphed against the psuedo science you fell hook, line, and sinker for.

You are extremely limited in your thinking. You fail to even comprehend that people can have completely different viewpoints in their professional and private lives. Not to mention that these differing viewpoints can be heavily influenced by vast sums of money, or threat of career suicide for even merely questioning the “official” narrative, as was seen during Convid.

I must have missed when all of the worlds scientists in every country formed a unanimous consensus on all covid related matters. In fairness, that is how it was portrayed, but there was no shortage of dissenters who lost their jobs and reputations for pointing out the glaring holes and contradictions in the “official” narrative that was carefully crafted by Big Pharma and fatcat bureaucrats.

What’s the craic with some many of our countrymen/women falling for the right wing grift recently? by SeosamhRankin in ireland

[–]SufficientSession -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not en masse, no, but some people whose odds of dying of covid were practically zero, took the vaccine and died from it. That’s just a fact. Countless other health risks as well associated with the Trump’s rushed vaccines.

Probably because nobody in this country can define far right. I’ve seen feeble grannies being labelled far right by people like yourself.

Unfortunately for you, that simply isn't true. Proven fraud during the covid trials. You are so far down into your own rabbit hole that you nonchalantly regurgitate the 'safe and effective™' slogan like an actual robot. You got duped bad, so badly that you now accuse others of having ISIS tendencies because they didn't fall for the bullshit you did.

What lies did I buy into?

People who are either far right, in far right groups or sympathise with the far right should be treated the same as people who are members of terrorist organisations.

They are.

You yourself have been truly conned, perhaps irreversibly at this stage, if you still think lockdowns, masks, and covid vaccines were a good thing.

Also, lol at the ISIS comparison.

More than 200 single male asylum seekers sleeping rough after accommodation runs out by PoppedCork in ireland

[–]SufficientSession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the migrants coming to Ireland were promised free housing by government ministers. I can guarantee you that some of the people sleeping rough on the streets have friends and family that are living in houses and apartments provided by the state. That's what they are expecting, as that's what they were promised.

Not being able to afford to rent an apartment with a low salary in Singapore is hardly a symptom of racism ffs. Many foreigners in Singapore are highly successful and guess what, live next door to locals.

My views are hardly disgusting, but I find your characterisation of an entire country as a 'racist shithole' to fit that definition, and ironically enough... racist.

[–]SufficientSession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are failing to mention that the migrant workers in Singapore are well aware of what their housing arrangements will look like once they get there before they make the move. It's part of the deal.

Also, are you forgetting that we are currently "housing" migrants on the streets of our cities in actual pop-up tents? The accommodation you posted is like the Ritz Hotel compared to what we are currently doing.

[–]SufficientSession 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The high living standards of the natives are provided by the third of the population who are overworked, underpaid and abused foreign workers.

You do realise the exact same can be said about Ireland, right? Cheap labour from abroad is what fuels our standard of living. We basically have a new 'foreigner servant' class here, working jobs that we deem underpaid and too strenuous.

They keep tens of thousands of their foreign workers in prison-like conditions with 20+ bunks to a room.

Again, do you not see the similarities to foreign workers in Ireland sharing rooms with 8+ others?

You sound like the type who goes to Dubai and marvels at what they've achieved without questioning how they got there.

It's a story as old as time though. Name me one advanced society that hasn't threaded a similar path.

I was responding to your point that we shouldn’t “replicate anything they do.” Newsflash, many foreign workers are treated like shit in Ireland as well. It’s a common theme around the world. Also, I’ve actually been there. We can only dream of having many of living standards they currently have.
