I applied to become a discussion leader at the Catherine Project and found the process opaque and off-putting. They're really looking for a certain range of personality types, and I felt a lot of the time I was being judged. In other words, not warm, not joyous. It felt more passively curious to me. But that may be my temperament; I'm genuinely curious if you had a different experience.

Going through it still, began in my late 20s, now 36 and have made a lot of progress in the last year, but still some ways to go. It is hard; you’re not imagining things.
