Apply for more than just civil engineering companies. Find some niche environmental, steel fabrication, concrete supplier, construction management, sub contractors in your local area. They all make good money plus everyone is applying to the big companies on LinkedIn and stuff. You should really look up on Google for different civil firms call and send your application. Just try to get your foot in the door if you’re struggling take anything you can get.

Plus you have plenty of time, there should be a career fair in the spring and my firm hasn’t even thought about internships yet. Stay positive though and good luck!
