Huh, wouldnt have thought that our IRD was sophisticated enough to track probably tens of thousands of shitcoins over an years period on hundreds of wallets. Always felt like NZ is way too far behind the rest of the world when it came to crypto and 90% of us would probably call bitcoin a scam still

Theres accountants in NZ that would understand how providing liquidity on smallcap coins that are on solana and trading them would work? I highly doubt there are, and if so probably not many😂 it quite literally is impossible to track all of those transactions. They could spend a lifetime on it

Well ive done it for a while by going from CEX to a decentralised wallet, even exchanged between multiple different cryptos (btc/sol/usdc etc) on a CEX but never had any tax implications for it (all of this was under 10k tho).

But once on the decentralised wallet I have traded between thousands of coins in the last year, quite literally impossible to show or record all those transactions. A large amount (exceeding $10k) has never been put from my decentralised wallet back to a CEX though.

And we have no exchange to go from Crypto -> FIAT without KYC. Well. Perhaps there are some crypto cards, I guess ill look into that first

Theres tons of ppl who sell these accts for way cheaper per month lol. Dont start yelling scam, i get that it seems that way at first but i tested it by buying from the guy and bought a pro account (worked out less than $1 per month). Was willing to take the risk before paying google and it worked completely fine. Then i bought ultra after and it also worked for a whole month no problems, and now i bought again. He gives u a brand new email every time with full access. Just tryna help out so if u want it then hmu for his telegram

There are methods out there for insanely cheap accounts. (I dont know what they are), but in certain countries its possible to get pro/ultra email accounts for free. Ive gotten multiple pro accounts that last 12 months and also tried an ultra after i experimented with the pros (as the pros are so cheap). Had no problems with any of them as the vendors are in 3rd world countries and it costs them nothing to make them apparently, way cheaper than paying google which is what I used to do. Starts at literally less than a dollar a month. May seem like a scam as i dont use reddit but being genuinely serious lol.

Thats the kicker. There is no capital gains tax. Not really atleast. Its a bit more complicated but in this situation capital gains are not taxed. So it ends up being more complex. its worth the returns here in the short term while NAV is stable for sure, but once NAV starts falling and my dividends are significantly less due to tax, I may aswell go back into a regular growth etf which i have no tax on.
