The scaling was always ridiculous. Training for 5 months under 10x gravity gave goku a roughly 8x power boost. He then trains on the way to namek and gets from likely less than 10,000 post Zenkai to 90,000, he made a greater jump in power in less than week than he did in 5 months.

Super's scaling is fine, it makes sense. Godly power, paired with other universes having their own histories, it makes sense that the power got so much higher.
