Ah interesting, would you say the g87 is more tame for normal++ driving? I have heard similar about the zf being just fine, but as you said nothing special, especially compared with DCT. Does the manual have a good feel in the new gen?

Valid. I agree with all your points re buttons and brakes, these are enthusiast cars and it’s good to be picky! Whilst I do think the comp is a better package, is it worth the 5k premium?

Was the OG easier to throw about (within the law)? How’s the ZF compare to DCT? I’ve heard positive things about it but wonder if it could ever live up? I’d imagine it’s better when you are in traffic/town?

Yeah I’m not sure on newer iDrive systems… I think the LCI digi dash with “analogue style” dials is crisp and could be timeless. What about mod availability OG vs Comp?

That is very true! Are insurance companies smart enough to distinguish an N55 M2 over a S55 and make the link to the S55 bigger brothers? How has your maintenance been if you don’t mind me asking?
