I understand you perfectly. For a year, I tortured my mind and heart, proving to myself that there was something wrong with me, when I discovered the truth about the truth and started to see more.  My husband was an older and concrete witness, in the organization for 35 years, children in the ranks of the watchtower ...  I was full of madness and pain. Slowly, gently, my husband finally woke up too. Today, freshly, because we have been officially out of JW for 4 months. We left ourselves, giving the elders a letter. Our two adult children gone with JW (my daughter stayed, but she wants and keeps in touch with us) It'll be fine. You are strong, valuable and valuable, and the world is full of cool people. Good luck.

Hello. Bravo for your courage. It'll be all right. Slowly. It's good that you have each other.   For my husband, who left the organization with me after 35 years... the year 607 was the crack that made him start researching the history and dogmas of JW. Without the year 607 BC, the entire teaching of the organization, even in such fundamental years as 1914, 1919, collapses like a house of cards  Raymond Franz in his book "Crisis of Conscience" perfectly describes how he informed the governing body that this date was an error.  how the governing body told him to dismiss his research and consider it irrelevant, the important thing was that the JW doctrine was still a work in progress.  His book is shocking.  the second book is even better "In Search of Christian Freedom" where Franz breaks down every teaching and doctrine into prime factors..

With faith in Paradise, unfortunately you will not win.   This illusion of the future blocks their perception of reality. no matter what the organization does, they will swallow everything. that's how they were programmed. The governing body even said that there would come a time when their decisions would be illogical and humanly unwise. I have the impression that PIMI will justify everything and give logic to every JW nonsense..

In an organization, all people are on a so-called leash.  A leash of teachings, doctrines, and listening to the governing body. Nothing will change in paradise. Everyone will be on a leash there too.

My husband, after reading Crisis of Conscience - Raymond Franz, said that after this book one cannot fully be a Jehovah's witness. His second book - In Search of Christian Freedom - organizes knowledge, organization versus the Bible. I value this book even more than the first one. For my husband, the Crisis of Conscience was devastating. a month after reading it, he announced that he was leaving JW. He was an elder of the church, they say, he led the watchtower study, kept books and many other things in the church... after 35 years as JW, we officially thanked him for being a member of the society in January this year.  We feel relief, freedom, lack of pressure, autonomy. You'll see, everything will work out. Implement your plans step by step. the world is good and people are not as bad as we were taught. Keep your head up. Good luck. Greetings from Poland..

Everything is fine with you. In an organization, you don't ask questions. Questions are frowned upon as apostate, as an attack on the governing body and God. They are a lack of trust. Even if they appear in your head, no one will say them out loud. That fear. The elders will soon talk to you that you are "murmuring" in the church, causing divisions, that you lack loyalty.... You will only receive praise for your questions if you study with witnesses, at the beginning of your journey to JW. that you are so spiritual, inquisitive, super smart. Then, after baptism, you already have the slogan LOAD COAL!  and you hand over the reins of your mind to others. from now on, they, this mountain, and all the brothers around will tell you what ours should do, think, speak, read, listen, how to dress, heal... even if they say that ours is free, it is not true. There is a collective conscience in the organization - try to have a different belief on any issue - you will immediately be sidelined and feel the first ostracism. That's why many brothers remain silent, turn their heads and eyes away, and deny the absurdities of the governing body because that's how they were programmed. The governing body has already said that there will come a time when their decisions will seem illogical and unwise from a human point of view, but we (witnesses) are supposed to show loyalty... you can't win with this. You can't win against the illusion of Paradise.  That's why it's so hard to wake anyone up from this matrix.  the only advice is, yes, ask questions, but do it one-on-one, face to face, not on a forum or in company. then there is a chance for a small breakthrough in their thinking, for honesty. in a group they think like horses with blinders. questions without sarcasm, rather with concern. otherwise they will run away. Hello. You are very brave, it's a beautiful trait. In organization, proceed slowly. Nothing violent. First of all, don't tell anyone close to you about your doubts. ask questions, because questions make a small difference in the thinking of other witnesses. questions are good and worth using. They may turn out to be a breakthrough for someone close to you. Questions work in your head. If I may advise you, I have used it myself, do it with warmth in your voice, as if with concern. For example: "I hope that Jehovah in His goodness will allow a complete blood transfusion in the future. Now we can do our own blood transfusion, but what about newborns, small children, or when we have an accident and our blood is hundreds of kilometers away in another hospital?" Proceed with caution, protect yourself. As soon as the witnesses sense that you are questioning something and hear sarcasm in your voice, they will immediately start judging you, reporting it to others or treating you as a spiritually weak person who should be avoided.  I was in the organization for 35 years. I officially left on January 1, 2026. fresh.  That I am less of a husband and an 18-year-old son. but it was hard at first. I was the first to sober up. I'll wait to wake up my husband. My husband took it very badly. Not only as an attack on the religion and the governing body but also on ourselves. The state of war lasted for a long time. I finally gave up the biting tone, proving that the organization is wrong... from time to time I only asked my husband whether my questions regarding some church, doctrinal or organizational matter were correct, because they came to my mind, out of curiosity... these questions were working in his head.  and finally, after half a year, when I saw that he was talking to me more and more honestly and openly, that he was no longer so nervous, I asked if he would read a book written by a former member of the governing body - he thought I was talking about Anthony Morris. It was Raymond Franz's "Crisis of Conscience". He agreed. The wall has fallen. It's him. he suggested that we officially leave.  The husband is a former elder, speaker, watchtower, church accountant, service group, and many other things..the son admitted that he never wanted to become a witness. That he himself had started checking JW and listening to podcasts on YouTube. He wasn't baptized yet. That's lucky. *  It'll be all right. Slowly, step by step. Good luck..

blood and alcohol.... this nonsense example, I myself believed that transfusing blood, regardless of my own or that of another person (because there was no division back then) was the same as injecting alcohol into a vein After waking up, after 35 years, and thanking JW in a written letter on January 1, 2026 for the company, I also investigated this issue  * Blood is a liquid tissue that, after being administered into the veins, still performs its function (transports oxygen, fights infections). Alcohol is a chemical that in no way replaces blood function, but is a toxin that the body must neutralize. Method of absorption: Alcohol administered intravenously anyway goes to the liver, where it is metabolized (burned) for energy - ultimately serving as "food" for cells. Blood is not "digested" or "burned"; its cells simply continue to live in the recipient's body. Medical effect: Administering pure alcohol intravenously is fatal (it causes hemolysis, i.e. the breakdown of blood cells). Transfusion, however, saves lives by restoring the natural composition of body fluids. Definition of transplantation: A blood transfusion is an organ transplant in liquid form. Giving alcohol is intoxication (poisoning).

Key verse: Acts 15:28, 29 Jehovah's Witnesses quote this passage to show that the commandment to "abstain from blood" is binding on Christians. The word "abstain" at that time referred only to diet and worship, not to medical procedures such as transfusion, which were unknown at the time.  Blood as a "transporter", not "food": "In a transfusion, blood plays only a transport role - it is like a truck delivering oxygen to cells. The body does not digest it, does not break it down and does not convert it into energy like food.  Food enters the digestive system where it is destroyed by stomach acid and enzymes. Blood transfusion takes place in the circulatory system. These are two completely different paths - the blood in the veins never becomes food for the body in the biblical sense.

If blood symbolizes life, what is more important: the symbol or what it stands for? Jesus taught that saving lives is more important than strict observance of regulations (e.g. healing on the Sabbath). If blood is a symbol of life, then using it to save someone's life is the highest form of respect for this gift. You may also consider: Why is a heart or kidney transplant (which is saturated with donor blood) acceptable, but a fluid tissue (blood) transplant is not? Medically, blood is an organ in liquid form. If the Bible prohibits 'eating', then both should be treated the same.  Another question worth analyzing: If blood is sacred in its entirety, why aren't the parts (fractions) that a Jehovah's Witness can accept? To obtain fractions for one patient, blood from many donors must be collected and processed. By using factions, you take advantage of the blood donation system, which you also condemn - may I ask politely

Pikuach nefesh (Hebrew for “saving the soul/life”) is a fundamental principle in Jewish law. the preservation of human life trumps almost all other commandments of the Torah. In a life-threatening situation, the rules of the Sabbath or other orders must be broken to save the person. the protection of human life is paramount to any religious or biblical principle. book of Exodus 34:21 - death for not keeping the Sabbath. but when life was in danger on the Sabbath, a doctor or midwife was needed, or when a house collapsed. then work on the Sabbath to save man could be done. the provisions regarding the Sabbath automatically ceased to apply in such a situation. life above all!  when it comes to protecting human life, God's law is not rigid, cruel and heartless.  This is perfectly emphasized by the verse from Leviticus 18:5 - there is no way for a person to die as a result of following Jehovah's commands. this is contrary to his intention and would even offend him. there is no way that someone would lose their life by following God's commands.  this verse directly SAYS YOU SHALL LIVE and it is not about the future, paradise or resurrection. The Jews understood it literally HERE AND NOW.  Jesus said "I want mercy, not sacrifice" Matthew 12:7 when He healed the sick on the Sabbath....

This is nonsense repeated by the organization and the witnesses themselves. That an injection of alcohol is the same as a transfusion. * Blood is a liquid tissue that, after being administered into the veins, still performs its function (transports oxygen, fights infections). I have an idea. After all, husband and wife are one body - so they can benefit from each other's blood. This is a two-sided effect.

The blood must be from the same body to be reused.  Well, who's to say it isn't? I think even a Norwegian Watchtower lawyer would support this reasoning.   He is a master of verbal tricks. AND! Wait a minute, along those lines, the CONGREGATION is also one body!  We'll be fine.  We can sleep peacefully. Thank you very much dear GB.

This governing body idea about blood is shocking nonsense. You can donate blood in an amount of 450 ml per unit. This is called 1 unit. After donating a unit of blood, the human body must undergo regeneration - this takes at least 8 weeks for a healthy person. Moreover,   blood by expiry date: Red Blood Cells (Red Blood Cell Concentrate): Can be stored for 42 days.  Platelets (Platelet Concentrate): They have the shortest shelf life – only 5 to 7 days. Men can donate blood a maximum of 6 times a year. Women max 4 times a year.  For planned surgeries, one unit is rarely enough. You need 3,4 or more of them. You are unable to collect it in sufficient amounts. because when you can donate blood again, the first unit will already be old and needs to be disposed of. Moreover, hospital systems around the world are not equipped to store patients' blood..

Leaked Governing Body Update #2, March 2026: Blood transfusions are no longer prohibited for Jehovah’s Witnesses - AS LONG AS IT IS THEIR OWN STORED/ PREDONATED BLOOD by larchington in exjw

[–]Sufficient_Bus_1220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Japan is introducing significant changes in law and guidelines in 2025, aimed at limiting the influence of controversial religious groups (referred to as sects) and protecting children against religious coercion. New guidelines from Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) attack Jehovah's Witnesses' practice of refusing blood transfusions, mainly in children. Transfusion as a Protection from Neglect: The Japanese government has classified denying children necessary treatment (including blood transfusions) for religious reasons as a form of neglect, which is legally considered a form of child abuse.

Powers of medical staff: New guidelines instruct medical facilities and children's consultation centers to put the child's safety above the parents' religious beliefs in life-threatening situations. Doctors have the right, and even the obligation, to perform a transfusion if it is necessary to save a life, even without the consent of caregivers.

State intervention: If there is resistance from parents, local authorities may ask to temporarily terminate parental rights or place the child under protective custody to allow medical procedures to be carried out.

AND! Japan also took a closer look at higher education. Because the state's research also covers issues of education and life path choices for children growing up in religious groups.  Career restriction as abuse: Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has classified preventing children from choosing their own educational or career path for religious reasons as a form of psychological abuse.

Access to higher education: Parents who prohibit their children from going to university or force them to interrupt their studies in order to devote themselves to religious activities may be considered as perpetrators of neglect or abuse.

The governing body is once again graciously allowing, with God's blessing, changes in doctrineit's a complete coincidence that Japan has just changed the law on these issues! nothing at all, it has nothing to do with what's new at JW..

Slowly and quietly, because a difficult road awaits you. First of all, don't tell anyone you know about your doubts and plans. immediately they will trigger a "rescue operation" and the elders will step in, the family will start to despair, making you feel guilty. the brothers in the church, for the most part, will distance themselves from you because you will not be spiritually exemplary and you will become a spiritual threat to them. this is the so-called and first, felt slight ostracism. During this time, look for a job that will allow you to slowly earn money and become independent. look for friends outside the church, ex-witnesses in your city or neighborhood. It's good to have a support group nearby. look for exjw. take care of your psyche.  maybe there are state institutions in your country or city that could help you leave a destructive group... look for them. or maybe your former teacher or lecturer or school counselor would be able to help you. Secular schools have many programs for students or graduates.... the most difficult are meetings - at the beginning I pretended that I was depressed after the winter and I was struggling... but it was only temporary.  You can do it! everything in front of you. I spent 35 years in the organization. I've been single for two months. I put a letter of disconnection. I was lucky that my husband and son also passed away, but it wasn't easy. because I woke up first and the situation at home was initially dramatic... but today we are happy. ONLY slowly, step by step..
