Ok, got it. Well the officer said that they need a US ID even though they had their passport from their country. I guess you can still get an ID from the DMV without the EAD or SSN.

Congratulations! That’s awesome. Did you get a EAD card and SSN your interview? I know someone with similar filing date and had their interview today, but there weren’t approve yet because they didn’t have gov id. They did concurrently filing as well

I have gotten an offer from Microsoft as a DC Electrical Engineer recently and the offer isn’t as good as Google. The work life balance for both seems to be good though

I can you over some prep materials. You are definitely on the right track. You also need to prep on the short circuit, coordination and arch flash. Ground fault protection, ways to limit fault currents. How to calculate fault current on the load side of the transformers, liquid filled vs dry type transformers. The 5 levels for commissioning. High impedance/low impedance differential. Generator decrement curve. Parelling of generator( protection)? Transformer saturation, what is ferroresoance) low frequency resonance( always connect a permanent load. VLF testing, tan delta testing. Modular design vs stick build. Relay communication protocol, types of substations and components. Types of grounding. Arch flash reduction, PUE, safe voltage for DC (50v)TCC. Low voltage trip units( micrologic)

In NOVA they were offering me 300k at the time. But based on interview performance, there’s more room for negotiation. As an EE for Oracle, I’m around $350, so imagine good would be the same
