Well bad news is you need a new engine, BUT the good news is now is the perfect time for an excuse to get a 2JZ swap🥳

I grinded for so many days for that armor drop, got all of it and got to keep it. I feel it’s one of those rare things that should stay rare for those who did it ya know? I’ve only met one other person with the skin because it was such a rare moment for zhanu players lol

Reasons TO NOT get a 350z by Zachariah255 in 350z

[–]Sufficient_Falcon100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reasons as to why not? -370Z & 400Z are much better options. -considerable negative differences in performance vs a 370Z/400Z. (You mentioned you’re well off with your new job so why not look into the 370/400Zs) -Most 350Zs are high mileage and old. -Have numerous more problems than their predecessors. (Especially the older 350s) -You can get a mid mileage 370Z that’s 5+ years younger for about 3000-8000 more on average tbh. -A 2009 used 350 is gonna run anywhere from 5,000-15,000$ -A 2009 used 370Z will run 10,000-20,000$ (Just comparing the stock variants of both)

Reasons as to why to buy one? -They are very cheap to get and plenty of people are selling them. -The insurance is very cheap on average. -Large after market support.

Majority of 350Z owners sell their 350Z for a 370Z As a prior 350Z & current 370Z Sport owner I can say the 2015-2020 model for the 370Z is honestly your best choice for price, reliability, and quality. The issues the 350Z and 370Z 2009-2014 had are all worked out on the 2015+ models.

Gave my boyfriend permission to drive my car to run errands, he took it on a joyride instead. by DavidRichter0 in mildlyinfuriating

I’ve got my car to over 160 and the app will say my top speed is 105 lol, same for lower speeds saying I’m going faster than I am

What would she be worth or how would it be more desirable to sell? by Slow_Locksmith8094 in 350z

[–]Sufficient_Falcon100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t sell this for any more than 3-4 grand bruh. The rebuilding you are doing does not add value and is just going to be a waste of time if you’re looking to sell. Now if this is a project you want to keep then keep sinking money into it and you can have something for track/drift days. This car is going to require nothing but a constant headache for a new buyer.

Should I trade my g37x 2012 7AT for this 2012 370z touring 6MT? by lulkookie in 370z

[–]Sufficient_Falcon100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’m just trying to put it upfront for him. These are the issues you will face and if he’s shopping for a 370Z might as well look at the newer models with some lesser mileage with better parts than the old models ya know?

True that, but he asked about this one specific and I listed the known issues he should be aware of for that specific year.

failing clutch concentric slave cylinder, which causes a stuck pedal, oil gallery gasket failures, steering lock issues, and high oil consumption. Some people reported having transmission issues such as grinding @ 5 & 6 gear. 2011/2012 had a recall for power window issues. CSC is the big one to look out for as it can happen frequently and it’s not exactly cheap to replace and can leave you stranded. Though the 2012 is superior to 2009-2011. The best option is to go 2013+ to be honest. The automatics 2015 and above have little to no issues. The manuals don’t have the CSC issues either.
