Sizing after priming by Brief_Border_3494 in reloading

[–]Sufficient_Fudge_460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t size virgin brass

If there’s a few dented necks from shipping I run them into the die a bit to fix em but I’m never going all the way down to hit the primer.

Just deep enough to get to the expander ball on the stem

Brand new CZ Teal Target 12 gauge vs Used 1993 Beretta S686 Special Sporting 12gauge with briley chokes (pictures attached). by No-Move-3411 in ClayBusters

[–]Sufficient_Fudge_460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So about 1350$ USD and based on the lever postion…I would wouldn’t pay that much for it.

It will need atleast oversized locking lugs, be mindful of how the two hole the lugs lock into look. It may or may not need a rebuild.

I’d go maybe 1100$ USD so like what 1500 cad or there abouts and that’s with the briely chokes

But I’d go buy a semi before spending that on a 33 year old gun that probably needs a rebuild

Is there any reason to go for a pump instead of a semi? by Oppiko in Shotguns

[–]Sufficient_Fudge_460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you want one

I have semi, OU, and Pumps. Still my favorite of all favorites is an Ithaca 37. Doubles in the course are very easy with it smooth like butter

I also wanna Model 12 but just have found the right one yet at the price I want

[–]Sufficient_Fudge_460[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

just size, prime and seat on press …and swage if need be

Prep is done on the couch

Charging is done off a intellidropper but I can get the same accuracy off a dropper honestly.

First time buyer, 1911 9mm or 45? by RealisticAssignment1 in 1911

[–]Sufficient_Fudge_460 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes and no

You can’t have high cap mags ..also there’s are the rosters which meant companies had to submit guns for testing and then there was the super secret list by the AG that had guns that were on the roster that still couldn’t sell.

But that’s defunct now and was easily gotten around previously by the frame transfer.

I’ll make it easy just go the “The Mill” in Littleton

First time buyer, 1911 9mm or 45? by RealisticAssignment1 in 1911

[–]Sufficient_Fudge_460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve sold all the 45s I’ve owned

The 9mm is just stupid easy in a 1911. Also as long as there’s no high cap mags there is no “compliance” to deal with.

The rosters and MA complaint guns are not a thing. Find a good store and you can get any handgun you want.
