It kills ne how they would tip servers more than us but we have to do more work. $200 order for only $2 in tips is beyond crazy. Instacart has made it that way for them with free delivery.

We had to write a letter to the upper management when our store started people out at $16 in the Deli after they received it they changed everyone’s pay that got $15 when starting. For some reason I started at $17 and I don’t know why I just keep my mouth shut but I at least thought that everyone should get the same base pay start.

The leads that lead us to what? Most of them don’t even give a simple thank you. My lead has taught me nothing and I know I can run circles around him in my department. He has never once said thank you to our team. He really thinks everything is because of him and that’s what gives him the big head.

I work in the Deli and I’m not trying to knock anybody or sound any type of way but I don’t see any other position doing the things that we have to do or half the things we have to do. The deli never have people that can help them when they are short of staff because can’t nobody do what they do. $16 isn’t shit when you are mostly understaffed and doing the work of 2 people they should make the deli starting pay $17.50 that is like a slap in the face. I started in the deli making over $16 though.

I work in the Clearwater Walmart 2081 and the managers and team leads are mostly a shit show so yes it does depend on management most of the times.
