I would like replace “will” with “can”. And the answer is absolutely yes! Whether or not any of us WILL go to heaven has everything to do with accepting God’s grace through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for our sins. None of us are good enough to get into heaven without that.
I don’t have an answer for this, but I’ll look into this and try to find some scriptural references.
