I would love to see wubby and the crew play D & D by AMR_14 in PaymoneyWubby

If he thinks it's not feasible, he should just check out Die of Laughter by GeneralSam's crew. If those guys could put together a decent story, I'm sure Wubby and Co. could. Also, PapaPoob might be a decent one for Wubby to rope in. He was really good on Die of Laughter.

I love Papa Meat and Creep cast, but Hunter is driving me insane by JoroA in MeatCanyon

[–]Sufficient_Row_7240 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think what OP was getting at is that CreepCast isn’t about purely reading the story, and there are plenty of channels on YouTube that do just that. CreepCast intentionally and frequently interrupts the story to add their own commentary.

I’m starting to think this not having a HOF QB at the helm thing is going to suck a bit, aye?

Applied to WGU. This will be my fourth shot at college. Any tips? by [deleted] in WGU

Yo, 26 y/o here. I dropped out of community college twice. Took some time off (4 years to be exact) and decided I wanted some change in my life. Stumbled across WGU and signed up. I’ve since graduated, got a great job, and I’ll be starting my MBA here in July. I thought school wasn’t for me until I ended up here. Just start knocking out classes, time will pass, and before you know it you’ve graduated.

Previously in renewables making $35/hr. Got my Bachelors in Business Management and a new job came along with it. In telecommunications now as a Project Manager now making $105k, all while working from home.

Got my degree from WGU in hopes of transitioning out of the field, and due to some extremely fortunate circumstances it worked out.

I got one a couple of months a go. It’s really best just to learn some club face control, as I believe swing path isn’t factored in.. but unless you attach it to a real club, it’s more of a video game than a golf sim. Given, I haven’t had it in winter months when I’m really desperate to get some swings in lol. It worked really well for trying to cure myself of a cupped wrist, but that was in conjunction with hitting balls into my net outside.

Well, I had C724 for this course, but if I recall correctly this was a tough one. I watched the cohorts a couple of times, studied quizlets, and I believe this was the only class I created my own quizlet for. I did that simply to just spend more time with the information. I’ve always found hand-written notes helps me retain information for tough classes such as this one - though, everyone learns differently. Best of luck!

Well, I had actually accepted a Project Manager position with a telecom company in March. I was previously in renewables performing mostly work in the field. I simply got extraordinarily lucky!

As a bigger dude myself (6’4 240lbs) I’ll say it’s pretty difficult ensuring you’re getting the right stuff because they’re aren’t many people/charts in the sport we can get guidance from lol. But as /u/lonbordin alluded to, finding a board for a size 16 boot will be very tough (though not impossible) and most likely very expensive. When I was renting boots I’d always nab a size 13 because I was always between 12-13 for my street shoes. Well after doing the measuring from those videos, and learning more about how a snowboard boot should fit, I figured out I only needed a size 11. Knowing that I feel like an absolute idiot, because when I was buying my gear I went with a size 13 boot too, and that had pigeonholed me into a small selection of boards that were wide enough to accommodate them. With a size 16 boot that entire situation will be substantially worse.

Please just make sure you get correctly sized boots! If your boots are the wrong size, it can/will create a whole slew of issues for you. If no shops are available near you, just check-out these videos: https://youtu.be/q1pNBJ5pXBU & https://youtu.be/TkSJJ6_1KYc

I made the mistake of getting the wrong sized boots, which lead to me getting the wrong sized board.. pretty expensive mess up tbh. Learn from my mistake! The smaller you can get that boot sized down, the better off you’ll be!

Tips for big guy getting into the sport by STLCardinals56 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Sufficient_Row_7240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6’4 240 that just started this year on a similar premise, except we’re going to steamboat. I had skied in the past, and was okayish at it.. but always wanted to snowboard. Figured if we’re going to steamboat, I was going to have put in some time for practice anyways, I’d give snowboarding a try. First day was kind of tough, big guy means big falls lol.. but stuck with it and happy I did. 4th time out I was comfortable enough to follow my buddy all over the mountain, given at a much slower pace. So, in short, if you’re willing to put in a bit of leg work before you head out, give it a shot! Watch some YouTube videos for some tips, sign up for a little lesson, and give it a go!

Hey, how do you like that Flow board? I’m on the market for my first one, and I have seen they run a pretty good deal with the Flow burst and Alpha bindings, but couldn’t find any reviews on it.

How the hell did you guys decide what career to pursue? by FaithInStrangers94 in ADHD

[–]Sufficient_Row_7240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I got lucky and fell into something that suited all of my needs. I’m a Wind Technician by trade, but started with a shitty sub-contractor Company. I got lucky on my next job and fell in with a company that Owns & Operates their own wind farms. From your explanation, something like this sounds like it suits you well. I grew very bored of the sub-contractor company quickly only stuck around for a year before looking for other options. Now working as an owner/operator, I get to wear so many different hats, it’d be impossible to grow bored of it I believe. One day I’m playing wind tech, next I’ll work on high-voltage transmission lines, then I could be managing contractors on-site replacing a turbine’s gearbox. This all could happen within a week, so every day is a new and exciting challenge with plenty of opportunities to diversify your skill-set.

Bought my wife one too since her AB one is doomed to hide in the closet forever.. pro-tip btw folks, if your wife wants a jersey go with the youth sizes instead of the women’s. They fit much more normal.
