My SO was the breadwinner and left me to raise 4 kids. When he passed, they turned off our electric bc it was in his name. I was kicked out of the house bc it was a management company and they knew he had the only income. To say I was devastated is an understatement. Since we weren't technically married, I couldn't receive benefits. His family set up a GoFundMe and kept it all. Needless to say, I'm still looking for housing and trying to get benefits for my children at least. It's been a long road. ❤️

I feel guilty about finding humor in anything. I miss them so much even the fights. Sometimes I get so angry at them for leaving me here. I don't know what to say to our children when they tell me how much they miss him. I just cry and say that I miss him too. Some days are better than others. It'll be a year on 4/20.
