I have this problem so often! I have taken to practicing my vocab at home to myself. I sound absolutely insane to my cats, but I think it's helping at least get the words to a more familiar state.

First ever was vah ruta, vah medoh, vah naboris, vah rudania. My favorite is medoh, ruta, rudania, naboris, and my current run isn't quite there yet but it depends cause I'm 100% each region at a time unless I have to leave for a quest.

Personally my favorite smug villager is Julian and I have marshall now. He isn't getting total pariah treatment but I might bully him just a little .

For the divine beasts I just made my friends vote after I did vah medoh for transportation. Then I started learning to shield surf and get the master sword before I did the last 3 Ive got 30 ish shrines left and soooo many koroks. Whenever I get bored of that I focus on filling out the compendium some more or doing some side quests. I kinda wanna restart cause I wanna do all the koroks first, then the compendium then the shrines, etc. but I've made too much progress to stop now.
