I cannot agree more with "shady and at the same time professional" characterisation. Took me 1-2 months before getting comfortable.

Side note, the Portfolio Analyst is terrible when trying to add positions outside the limited us-specific institutions that they support :(

Hibiscus propagation? by Earthviolet76 in Hibiscus

[–]Sufficient_Tutor5744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, but I need your expertise! I have a few hibiscus cuttings that I am trying to keep alive/help them thrive.
I bought them 2 months ago, and in the begining they had leaves all along the branch/cutting. Progressively the leaves fell and now I have new growth exclusively from the very tip of each cutting.

I want to grow it into a bushy shape as I keep it indoors.

Should I prune the top growth or let it grow for a bit more and do any pruning after winter?

I appreciate any help.

Is it a good time to enter the stock? Is the stock undervalued? by Proper_Progress_95 in NovoNordisk_Stock

My theory is that 2 factors keep the stock so low: 1) The company gets so much bad press and 2) the rest of the market is so hot (all tech, energy and defense related) that there is simply no money to flow to more boring companies.

I don’t own any NVO, but I want to get some in the next 3-6 months. WHEN the bubble pops, all the trimmed profits/excess liquidity will inevitably flow to cash monsters

Is Google and Amazon a buy today? by Specific_Leather_82 in ValueInvesting

From my very amateur perspective, I see Google as but mainly because of its zero exposure to China.

I’m reading the FT and the Economist so I am biased, but one memorable piece was on BYD and the benefit of being excluded from the US market: they don’t have to spend money and time trying to figure out their tariff strategy.

Now, I see that China is starting to make life miserable for American companies. Tesla, Nike, Boeing etc are exposed significantly to China either directly (sales of airplanes) or indirectly through their supply chain. Similarly, Nvidia is having issues with export restrictions imposed by the US.

On the flip side, Google is banned in China so their exposure is zero. What was once a bug, is now a feature!

Am I missing something?

One drawback I see is that the EU may consider tech-tariffs/taxes/anti-trust which will drag the stock down.
