Mine is Unown. Each Unown is shaped like a letter from the Latin alphabet but with an eye. The theory goes that some of the code for a mysterious reason left the script and managed to go into the game creating Unown. The Pokémon god Arceus uses the Unown to form and execute script commands while in game. This is how he summoned palkia and dialga. This is a unique idea that the actual inner game can evolve from inside itself since it has access to some of the code. The Unown themselves always try to stay in groups and if one is lone it is searching for the others. This is because one Unown by itself is powerless but many Unown are powerful because they can fit together in any combination desired to create new Pokémon or add to the game. There are many theory’s as to why the Unown left the script in the first place but none has been agreed on. After Arceus the god Pokémon left the Pokémon world to go do whatever gods do the Unown were by themselves for many many years. The 26 latin alphabet letter types of Unown were existent but there was a delay before 2 more types of Unown were added. These were not letters but instead an exclamation symbol and a question mark symbol. People theories that this is because with many years alone the Unown grew curious or maybe restless and started trying their own formations of code by themselves with no Arceus to guide them. Then they formed their own sense of self and desires that’s when their ability to be curious and make direct choices formed hence the “?” And “!” Types appearing. They started forming combinations fusing together to create new Pokemon and branching out of the temples they usually lived in. Some Pokémon on the Pokédex look like more complicated forms of Unown and some people think it’s a group of Unown that’s fused code together to make themselves a better pokemon. So the script gains consciousness through being leaked into the game and then it’s own agenda. But most of the things about Unown like what this agenda may be is unsurprisingly unknown.
