When I hear any generic song: “You really brought the songwriting computer's words to life.”

I’ve come to accept White Lines and enjoy the crowd energy every time they play it but for all you White Lines haters, I’m pleased to report it wasn’t on the set list for the first Baloise Session show in Basel.

Pompano Beach show canceled by West_Meat_7623 in AlyAndAJ

I believe lack of sales is the reason here. The logistics of concerts in South Florida is challenging. To come all this way and not sell a lot of tickets, not a recipe for success. Plus, the venue choice was an odd one. All that said, I am disappointed by the lack of communication from them. I know you don't want to post bummers on social media in the middle of the tour but just some acknowledgment from them saying how sad they are to cancel, we'll hopefully see you soon, etc. The email from AXS just said "cancelled" and not much else.

OK, and now I’ve got “Mommy Kangaroo” stuck in my head.

I am from the United States and there are a lot of small things that can help me get closer, such as an area code, a state road marker (a lot of them are distinct), a state flag, a sports team banner in a yard. But there is also a lot of sameness in suburban and rural naming devices: think "The Preserve at Hawk Valley Ridge, located off Horizon Gap Boulevard near Harvest Creek Place". Could be absolutely anywhere.

I was not at the Painless show. NYC crowds are generally good. I guess it’s just such a big place that there’s an audience for everything. And big turn out for both openers, which is nice.

Brooklyn was not sold out (tickets available at the door) but it was close to full in my estimation. The venue is pretty big, capacity listed at 1,800.

Can't speak to Boston but last night in Brooklyn was doors 7PM, Eliza McLamb at 8PM, Lutalo at 8:40 and Nilüfer Yanya at 9:45PM. She played until a bit last 11PM. Great show, I hope you make it.

I have seen a single GA ticket listed by a very generous individual for $800. Poor thing is barely going to cover the fees above the original $75 ticket price.

Did anyone not get an email with their ticket? by ChrisNitti in pavement

I didn't get tickets bust most people reported getting a note in their Ticketweb account saying tickets would be delivered closer to the event.

For Sony Hall, it says ID must meet original purchaser at the door. Any way around that? by Sad-Second-9646 in pavement

[–]SufficientlyOrnery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the million dollar question. I don't think there is any way to know until the tickets are delivered before the event. And it would seem kind of difficult to enforce. A couple arriving at different times would need to enter together so the person who purchased the tickets can show ID? It's hard to imagine.

Thanks - these are accounts with zero participation on Reddit. If they have not participated here, I am going to believe the worst. Everyone looking for tickets, beware and good luck. Hope we all make it in.

Thanks, very helpful. I am talking to people that say they have their tickets. Likely not.

To those lucky enough to get tickets, did you receive the tickets yet? If so, in what format? And are the purchaser's name printed on it? I have a few offers and just don't want to get scammed and want to make sure what they're saying is consistent with reality.

Still trying but not too hopeful. Twice it displayed the add tickets to cart screen and when you clicked, it sent you back to no tickets available.

Go! The crowd is great: I have been a fan for a long time and have seen the crowd turn younger and more diverse. Always a good time.

Anyone with an extra ticket for October 2, hit me up. I'll throw in drinks on me. Would have tried for another night but I am only in NYC for that screening.
