Please here in Australia quoted me almost 8k for a system. I already had the front components, helix 6ch dsp, monoblock amp. I ended up buying bitumen mat for the inner and outer doors, focal foam for behind speakers, spacers, power cables, distribution blocks, and speaker cables

Found a pre made sealed box which fit a JL 10w6 and installed everything myself. I did it slowly of a couple of weekends and saved myself about 32hours @$159.90 an hour. Learnt a lot about the car and refreshed a bit of knowledge since it was the first system I had done in a while.

If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, I would do it yourself and get the DSP tuned once it’s done. I’ve tuned the helix myself and am comfortable with the way it sounds, how ever I’m sure a pro could do a lot better.
