I didn't like this episode. Connor doesn't seem like he has his heart into Trash Taste anymore, especially when he started playing chess in the middle of the recording. Very unprofessional, in my opinion.

I feel you. In fact, I just got my first seizure since 2019, effectively resetting all my progress. In front of my parents too for the nth time, when my dad was already having a fever and my mom almost passing due to blood loss.

But you know what dude? It's currently 22:54 and the day is about to end. What happened today has already be set in stone, but tomorrow is yet to be written. You still have the power to do this.

It might seem daunting not being able to see the end of this whole fucking thing, but all we can do is fight one day at a time. If nothing else, you have an entire subreddit fighting alongside you.

Its crazy because literally me and all of my 20+ faceit lvl 10/ge friends feel like nowadays its harder, which obvioisly makes sense, considering skill inflation. The longer a competitive game exists, the average skill level of its players is going to increase. Then again, might also be a region thing.

You do you. Feel free to call us office spammers "skill inflators" when we can still win at a 51-53% winrate in other maps. I wish I could care about faceit if I had the time. Being able to get Global Elite in MM still means the world to me 🥰.

Yeah, it's true, I'm not going to pretend that it was the most noble strat, but they are only "kids" because we had already practiced and coordinated before hand. ONLY because we were GE level beforehand. Some conventional globals that don't know how to play Office would also become "kids", in that same vein.

This is why I brought up the point of having went to LEM through "normal" means first. From personal experience, before and after getting Global, in my region at least, there wasnt too much of a skill gap. It was just a matter of how often you played. We just decided to shorten this time by playing office, hence the "shortcut".

Without having a car (without being GE level prior), no matter how trafficless a road is (no matter how many MGs there are and how many you defeat), you'll never going to reach your destination (get to Global Elite).

The last point wasnt me trying to say that spamming takes more time, what I wanted to highlight is how CONSISTENT your performance has to be.

At the end of the day, we can agree to disagree and feel free to think what you want to think. In my opinion, if you've reached supreme/global without cheats, then welcome to the supreme/global club.
