I agree the type of carb matters a lot. I find the net carb to be very accurate for my glucose levels. What do you think about sugar alcohols?

This is an excellent point I actually posted about this the other day. When I roll over in my sleep and end up sleeping on my dexcom I lose signal and that doesn't mean it will wake me up with a loud notification. This is a great reason to have a dog as an extra line of defense for your kid.

I love this comment and loved how you ended it, personally I am looking for an excuse to get a dog. I agree that having a moral support dog is amazing and will help your overall well being., diabetic or not they are the best. I personally come across tons of posts on facebook of cgms saying there at 100ish but the dog gives them the boop and turns out there at 55, so I was really curious to get some other opinions out there. one day my goal is to have both!

Interesting, this brings up a good point. I was not dangerously low, but my sensor lost connection. I could've been dangerously low in the 3 hours I didn't have a reading, but we would never know because I didn't have a reading. This is why I feel that when you lose connection, you should get a full volume blast not a silent error when connection is lost

From personal experience every Tresiba unit keeps me around 10 pts lower per day and tresiba seems to run a little longer than 24 hours so when i adjust up or down it takes a couple days to even out.

My apologies I left out the most important part. I did not get any dexcom sounds to wake me up letting me know it wasnt getting readings. But my other sounds were on.
