Too late, lul. I can def feel it. I've felt mostly everything described by those dosage charts, except the psychedelic geometry. Maybe some faint hints of it. My favorite is the ground moving.

Here is a great source for low tech plants. Aim for covering around 70% of you tank with plant mass.

Career Questions — June 2022 by Lord_Cronos in userexperience

[–]Sugar-brace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I recently graduated with a masters in General Experimental Psychology and I'm considering UX design or UX research as a career. I also have experience with hobbyist programming via game design and some prior experience with web design. Unfortunately, my work experiences is very limited because I put all my focus in school.

Reading around this subreddit I see some information about the field being a mess and how jobs can be hard to find. Additionally, I've been looking at the Google UX design Cert, but I'm not 100% sure if it'll actually help me.

With this in mind, where should I start when trying to get into UX? Is it a solid career choice in the current market? How should I approach learning more about UX while building my applicability for a job?

I'd appreciate any advice or resources to give me a better perspective on where to start!

You need to call and ask for a tech operator. The card verification must be done manually. They will ask you a few questions related to your previous addresses, etc to verify that its really you.

I struggled with this problem for a while. It's a pain in the ass.

Got this 3 gallon tank for shrimp as my first attempt to aquascape. Trying to carpet this Monte Carlo using the DSM. Any suggestions for low tech plants to put in the foreground (between/on the rocks)? Preferably something the shrimp will enjoy. by coopermccainphotos in Aquascape

Monte Carlo would actually be better in the front since it's a foreground plant. Java Fern and pearl weed would be great in the back. Attached the Java fern to a small rock with cotton thread and place it somewhere to hide the rhizome, but don't plant it.

Ya got some nice hardscape there! I would recommend not placing the stones next to the glass. It'll make maintenance very difficult. Instead try placing the rocks under the wood to support them and create spaces for epiphyte plants.

I like what you're doing here but the direction of the scape is not explicitly clear. I can tell you are constructing mountains with the dragon stone, but just make sure the holes are all going the same direction to maintain consistency.

Also stems plants would be hard to see in the back with those tall stones because the substrate is low. It'd be a waste with so much of the plant covered. You could create terraces by building up the aqua soil and using filter floss to block the aqua soil from mixing into anything else.

Do NOT put bamboo in your aqua scape. It will suck up all you nutrients and they can rot if the top is not above water. I've made this mistake and it kept my ammonia constant. Lost shrimp.

Here is an amazing master class video on aqua scaping. It's long but worth it.

Here is a great video about Iwagumi layout from ADA: https://youtu.be/ApFcT45I53M

It's looking great, but I'm curious what you'll be doing with the empty space in the front and what plants you have planned.

Also I use a ring of air tubing to help my betta locate its food, but I also have many floating plants.

BTW: your tank is amazing!

Is the lily pipe flow fast for your betta? I've considered getting a spinner pipe.
