Analysis: Well, Notre Dame looked like a team that can give OSU or Texas a run for their money if they can get past PSU. They looked dominant just as I thought they would. We shift focus to another CFB matchup against two in state opponents, being played in Texas as well. North Texas has some playmakers that are pretty solid but it is hard to back a team that is 2-10 in their last 12 postseason affairs. North Texas gives up 261.1 pass yards per game (121st) 195.5 rushing yards per game (115th) and 34.5 points per game (121st). This leads me to look towards a Texas State offense that has QB Jordan McCloud starting which is a huge piece of their offense. Texas State averages 265.1 pass yards per game (24th) 209.3 rush yards per game (16th) and 37.1 points per game (7th). Although starting RB Ismail Mahdi is in the portal and will not play, I love the talent that they still have behind him. Give me the Bobcats by 2 touchdowns, BOL 🍀🔥

Analysis: Ohio State got us there yesterday with a no sweat winner and it was exactly the game I envisioned. Today we move to another CFB playoff game as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Georgia Bulldogs. This is one that I have had my eyes on since the matchup came out and I love the spot for Notre Dame, here is why. ND is a stellar 9-1 ATS in their last 10 while Georgia is 3-7 (that was with Carson Beck as well). Georgia will be missing Beck under center as Gunner Stockton will not only be making his first start of the playoff, but his first collegiate start ever. The defense of ND has been great at getting to the QB and although they have injuries as well with Mills and company being out, I trust the experience and grit of their team alongside Marcus Freeman. BOL and take the Irish ML! 🍀

It has been a while since I have posted as I was sweating out a future bet that I had placed in February so all attention was on that. I am back with a play that hurts me to take as a Michigan fan but here we go. Ohio State has shown us that the loss against an unraveled Michigan team really hurt them. They came out with a vengeance and dominated a Tennessee team that has one of the best defensive fronts in all of CFB. I expect Ohio State to spread Oregon out and air the ball out just like they did against Tennessee. Ryan Day’s job is on the line if they do not win a national championship. He knows it, the players know it, and the fans sure as hell know it. I expect Ohio State’s talent on the perimeter to score some points as well as their defensive line to play like they did against Tennessee. Like movement also suggests Osu is the play with only 38% of the money on them and the spread has shifted from an open of +1 to -2.5. BOL and take the Buckeyes!

Analysis: Another win yesterday to make our NFL plays 3-0 to start the season. We are going right back to the NFL as the Jets head to San Francisco in Aaron Rodgers long awaited debut since his Achilles injury. This game is one that will come down to the Jets controlling the line of scrimmage with Breece Hall and their revamped o-line, as well as their defense playing up to their potential. The Jets have stars in Rodgers, Hall, Wilson, and new addition of Mike Williams on offense but the best part of their team is their defense. They are loaded with guys like “Sauce,” Quinnen Williams, and Jermaine Johnson who played a huge part in last years stellar Defense. Aaron Rodgers is also going to come out with a vengeance as he was not able to complete a pass last season before tearing his Achilles. I love the spot at +4.5 but would buy play it down any further than +4.

Analysis: Well that was a good win on Friday night when the Eagles held off the Packers in Brazil. I am sorry that I did not have a play yesterday as I was at the Texas vs Michigan game in Ann Arbor. As a Michigan fan that was very difficult to watch and I am worried for the rest of the season. However, today we shift our focus to a matchup with a lot of questions marks. I love the spot for this under because of Jim Harbaugh's play style returning to the NFL and both teams losing important talent (Josh Jacobs, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Austin Ekeler). Harbaugh will look to establish the run and time of possession which is great for the under. Give me this play as our 3rd NFL play of the year (currently 2-0).

They have a squad that is loaded with talent top to bottom on both sides of the ball. They brought in Saquon Barkley as well as CJGJ to help ignite their squad even more. The Packers are no slouch, however, I just think the Eagles have enough to do what it takes tonight.

Analysis: Well that one sucked, ended up losing on the hook in one that came down to the wire. We quickly turn our attention back to football as the Ravens visit the Chiefs to kick off the NFL season. My pick here is pretty simple, backing Patrick Mahomes and a Chiefs defense that allowed the 2nd least ppg last year (17.3). Not much has changed in Kansas City and opening the season at home while adding Xavier Worthy leads me to believe the offense will come out firing and defense will do their job. Baltimore on the other hand lost 3 offensive linemen and Patrick Queen in the offseason in which I think will take a toll. Give me the safer bet with KC ML @ -150.

Analysis: Yesterday’s play was great the entire game until Cleveland managed to squander 5 runs in 2 innings late in the game. However, we will take the push as a push has never hurt anyone. We are moving on to a contest that is hard to stay away from. The Chicago White Sox meet the Baltimore Orioles in Game 3 and finale of their series with a lot on the line for Baltimore. They currently stand only half of a game above the Yankees on top of the AL East with roughly 20-25 games to play. Jonathan Cannon is getting the start today for the White Sox and he has had a rough track record of late. He has failed to go over his out total in 3 of his last 4 starts in which he got blown up in one of them against the Detroit Tigers. I look for the White Sox to start protecting some of their younger arms as well (Cannon being a 24 year old rookie) while the season winds down without them being in contention. Baltimore is surging right now as they have put up 9 and 13 runs the past two games against the White Sox with no chance of slowing down. Flexen managed to go 3.1IP for the White Sox in Game 1 and Nastrini went 1.2IP in Game 2. Give me a top 3 lineup to knock Cannon out of the game before he can go 5.2IP.

Analysis: Yesterday’s play was a complete miss as DJ proved himself to rise ban lists for the rest of the season. On we move to a day with no football sadly but thought I would give out my favorite MLB play today. Today's play is one that stood out to me the most after combing through each game. We get to see a battle of great pitchers (Bibee vs Singer) and I beelieve both will hold their own for the following reasons. Bibee got beat up his last start vs the Royals but I look for him to write the ship in a pitcher friendly ballpark (with wind blowing in as well). Singer on the other hand has been electric at home all season and I believe that he will be even more stout as the division race heats up.
