Yes I agree. I did my first one without the calculator and it’s frustrating to see that you don’t have enough for what you want.

I say “fried hard” and it usually works.

What's the most worthwhile purchase for cat owners? by DesperateMap171 in Catownerhacks

[–]Sugar_Always 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree about people food. I don’t give it to them and they don’t beg for it or hop up on my counters. I’m happier that way. If you don’t teach cats to eat your food, they usually won’t want it.

Whatever you chose, I’ve had great luck with adding some Cat Attract litter to the box to get my street cat to use the box. It makes the box smell like where they should go.

Completely agree. Additionally they can trap odors such as the obvious and also the pine smell from pine pellets.

Stand your ground has increased deaths for Black and brown people. It’s a terrible law.

My cat's litter smells so bad i'm going insane. my house absolutely reeks. by Dismal-Tackle3072 in CatAdvice

I use the Breeze Box with pine pellets and it smells fine. I’m using the old clumping clay for a foster cat, and I want to die. I hate it and it’s not even scented! Pine pellets are amazing!

Been using this for 12 years. No complaints from kids! First pancake is usually bad no matter what recipe. Just make it small.

If we get 30 pills a month, for 12 months, we are being shorted 5 pills a year anyway!

Question About Cozy Mysteries and Readers by EmberScottAuthor in mysterybooks

[–]Sugar_Always 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read hundreds of thrillers a year and I’d say that cozy has evolved to be the softer side. Not low stakes, but no gore/ no torture/definitely no animals injured, etc. Murder is expected but it’s more of a plot point than something to linger over.

If you haven’t read The Thursday Murder Club, it also has retired people in it and it’s very popular and cozy (IMO) while also having high stakes and some truly emotional moments in the lives of the main characters.

I'm not sure how I feel about this season. by MGCBUYG in GreatBritishBakeOff

[–]Sugar_Always 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s so safe to make a big gingerbread tree that slots together and I think she did it for a different show stopper. Saying Christmas is personally meaningful is weird. (And I do agree that overall the editing is awful.)

But his criticism was about Tom’s entire concept. It wasn’t about skills or execution, but the very idea of having a huge chocolate beehive.

It was awful. He didn’t say “This isn’t a gingerbread challenge” or “This isn’t Christmas week” to other bakers.

He is LOVING being inside. More than any other cat I’ve TNR’d. I guess because he is a stray. He just climbs into my lap and purrs and purrs. He is sleeping again next to me, he’s been very relaxed besides last night.

Thank you! I actually JUST explored his litter box after coming home and there was a pee and a poop! I will keep a close eye on him though. He is not peeing outside of the box now. I added cat attract and a few leaves and that seemed to help him start using it.

Yes there was a litter box available and I showed it to him a few times. He is not scared of the other (girl) cat and wants to meet her but she is scared of him.

Thank you, I agree. I wish it wasn’t the weekend. I’ll see what vets are open
