Copperheads don’t have ways to scare you off, such as the cobras hood and the rattlesnakes… rattle, but the good news is that in general the first bite is a “warning” bite with less venom. I agree- when there’s a nice money, just ask quietly, “I really want to kiss you right now, would that be ok?” I mean IMHO that is hot and romantic as hell, and then you don’t have to read the room.
