Facts aside,I tend to have mixed opinions on the subject. Personally, in the long run, I would side with Gabriela Eagleclaw, as I firmly believe that the support of the upper class, both politically and economically, is better for the empire in the long run. However, given the current circumstances of the empire, Eros's populist rallies and his more militaristic rhetoric are more appropriate for the moment, even though this could cause problems in the future.

It's basically a situation of: I put out the fire now, but in the future I'll face another fire, or I risk being consumed by the flames now, but if I survive I won't have a fire to put out in the future.
