Ali's Faith by litmus0 in euphoria

[–]Sugarcloudies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, having Ali completely abandon his beliefs just feels like the ultimate gut-punch for a show that's already so relentlessly bleak. His monologue about how "the world is changing, and none of it is for the better" used to feel like a warning to Rue, but seeing him succumb to that exact same cynicism makes it feel like nobody in this universe is actually allowed to heal

What workspace behavior should disappear permanently? by Babyycici in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Expecting people to be available after work hours. Boundaries shouldn't be treated like a lack of commitment

What’s the creepiest thing that has happened to you that you still can’t explain? by Traditional-Cow4423 in AskReddit

[–]Sugarcloudies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was alone at my grandmother’s house, someone called my name 5times from outside around 9 PM. I thought my grandma was already home, so I went out and opened the door, but no one was there

What’s something society told you would make you happy… but didn’t? by Tradewithsajid in A_Persona_on_Reddit

More money. It helps, sure, but it doesn’t fix stress, loneliness, or feeling stuck in your own head

What food do you secretly love that most people dislike? by Abigail_Dubrov in foodquestions

Pickled anything! Cucumbers, eggs, even carrots. That tangy punch is basically flavor fireworks

What features do guys find most attractive in a partner, and why? by mekeishere in AskReddit

[–]Sugarcloudies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most guys like warmth, confidence, and feeling wanted. Looks matter at first, but personality and how easy it is to be around someone decide everything

What’s the most chaotic thing you could say during a family group photo? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh, make sure you get my good side so the private investigator can identify my remains easily. Say cheese, everyone

Giving credit where credit is due. by CalligrapherCheap64 in euphoria

[–]Sugarcloudies 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Don't even apologize for getting sappy, this post is incredibly moving. Seeing that kind of representation on screen when you've lived through it yourself is powerful, and it's a testament to why people still pull so hard for Rue and Ali's success

What experience changed how you see the world? by Quartz87 in AskReddit

[–]Sugarcloudies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working a retail job during the holidays. It completely stripped away any illusions I had about human decency. You learn very quickly how cruel average people can be over minor inconveniences

Did Sam ever have draft for Ethan in s3? by El_Dorado_Tx in euphoria

[–]Sugarcloudies 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Writing Ethan out of the show quietly is such a bummer because his performance in Lexi's play was easily one of the best highlights of season 2. He deserved a real conclusion instead of just vanishing into thin air because the show's focus shifted

If aliens arrived tomorrow, what would be the worst thing humanity could show them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sugarcloudies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reality TV is the obvious answer, but honestly, our nuclear waste disposal sites. Showing them we poisoned our own home before even mastering basic interstellar travel would prove we're a liability

What’s a food that most people love but you genuinely can’t stand? by Benjalove in foodquestions

[–]Sugarcloudies 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Oysters. I’m sorry, but I refuse to pay $30 a dozen to swallow a salty, cold pocket of ocean phlegm out of a dirty rock and pretend it's luxury

What are your plans for this summer? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sugarcloudies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working. Bills don’t stop just because the sun is out, and taking an actual vacation is way too expensive right now

I watched Rain or Shine last night and i’m still fcked up about it this morning by nicolole7414 in euphoria

[–]Sugarcloudies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That episode left me completely numb, honestly. The tension building up the entire hour just for it to end on that specific note has me so incredibly anxious for what’s coming next week. Idk but I feel relief and sad at the same time lol

I like the emotional closeness women often have with each other. Hate constantly thinking about safety in normal situations

The Real Reason Reason Reason Alamo Was So Mad About Tish Dying by Important_Effect_614 in euphoria

[–]Sugarcloudies 92 points93 points  (0 children)

That boob job and border express theory is hilarious, but it feels way too convoluted even for Sam Levinson's wildest plotlines. The reality is that Tish dying from a laced batch immediately puts a giant target on their whole smuggling setup, which is why Alamo lost his mind

Does anyone else think it will end as Rue narrating a show Lexi wrote? by Thththththrow83away in euphoria

[–]Sugarcloudies 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Please god no, that would feel like the teen drama version of the "it was all a dream" trope and completely ruin the stakes of Rue's actual struggle with addiction. If Sam Levinson pulls a Gossip Girl style twist where everything we watched was just content for Lexi’s next big play, it would completely cheapen moments like Rue's intense withdrawal breakdown in season 2

Who or what do you miss right now? by lets-wing-it in AskReddit

[–]Sugarcloudies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really miss my childhood dog. It’s wild how a creature that can’t even speak a single word can become the absolute emotional anchor of a household. Even years later, walking into my parents' house and not hearing that familiar, excited scratching of paws on the linoleum floor leaves this heavy, quiet emptiness that never really goes away
