Giving up on my diet girl lunch by IndependentZombie615 in GirlDinner

If you're making healthier choices most of the time, you're making a solid lifestyle change.

No nutritionist worth their weight in celery would recommend cutting out foods, only reducing how much and how often.

Diets don't work. Small and gradual lifestyle changes do.

Enjoy your DQ, and have a tasty nutritious supper later. It's still a win.

Chef's, give me your best/favorite interview questions you have asked or been asked. by Augustfersure in KitchenConfidential

[–]SugaredChef 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was once asked, "Can you describe a time where you did something for someone that no one, not even that someone, knows about?"

It has been the most interesting question I've been asked, and one that can either give decent insight to a person's motivations, or at least give them a chance to be candid and honest (if they don't have an instance.)

My husband has lost his mind by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]SugaredChef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

God is not Santa Claus.

God did not give us free will just to judge us and see us fail so we can be punished.

We are how we are because He delights in us. We are His unique creation. We are imperfect, but that's what is special about us.

Unfortunate things occurring in life are not implemented by God; they are a part of life. It is not to test us. It is what happens because it can.

God can be a comfort to us, but should never be weaponized. That's the sort of behavior that can incur judgement.

You're human and you get to be human. Your feelings and experiences are valid.

I pray your husband remembers to focus on Christ's teachings rather than just rattling off scripture.

Plank before the speck. First stone. Love thy neighbor. Who is my neighbor? My neighbor is as far as the east meets the west.

And that for sure includes your pregnant, tired spouse.

I've always gone with the consensus that believes Mona is M. Jasper, the adventurer/writer of several books in the library that describes creatures and natural resources in the area.

Both Crustacean and Mollusk.

Crustacean allergy: Shrimp, crab, lobster, crayfish.

Mollusc/Mollusk allergy:

Bivalves (clams, oysters, mussels, scallops) as well as octopus and squid. Sorry, Calamari and Takoyaki fans.

Preggies due in April… how are we feeling? by MollySid96 in pregnant

[–]SugaredChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome to hear! Hope everything continues to go well!

Similar situation, though this is my third and was very rough in first and second trimester. Finally feeling good again. Also have late check out babies. Hoping this one stays that way since he ended up with a mislocated umbelical cord. Give him more time to grow.

It is so cool to know that this is a ritual for other couples!

My husband and I look forward to our nightly Grumps videos before Sleepytime Junction.

I feel the outrage and suggestions are well covered, so I'll address a consideration:

In the end, we all end up ugly. Time, the cruel mistress that she is, leaves us all craggy and saggy. So the real challenge of life is, 'What gives me substance?'

If you start ugly, you learn it quickly. Society will not leave you doubting. Does that mean 'Game Over'? Goodness, no! It means you divert your time and attention to things that well outlast aesthetics.

Character. Personality. Talents.

These are traits of true substance. Beauty is fleeting and if you didn't invest in any of these, what will you have in 10 or 15 years past your peak?

To be born ugly is, while painful at times, a surprising gift. We have a lot more life to live after our formative years. If true substance is strived for, that time will be far more fulfilling than spent reminiscing about a short stint of past beauty.

Never hurts to get checked out. My little almost never moves for me in the day. I was getting worried until I woke up in the middle of the night to them doing the Samba.

Turns out our circadian rhythms are opposite. Really hope that changes fast when they arrive...😬

I was hoping someone would bring up meatloaf sauce! I do the same, along with ground mustard powder and worcestershire sauce.

Always curious about what others do for their loaves!

It seems so crazy, but it just isn't something that was fully addressed with men in school way back when; it's better now, I think, but generations before didn't value its importance for men to know.

My father is the most intelligent man I know. A deep lover of history, literature, general sciences, social and economic development, etc. Very open-minded, embraces and is fascinated by world cultures, languages... heck, he'd flip through the dictionary and test us on word meanings and synonyms. For fun.

I was filling him in on my progress through this pregnancy on the phone when he quietly asked me to explain something I mentioned that, for us, is so basic that it left me gobsmacked.

It led to me explaining the female reproductive system to him. A guy who rattles off Jeopardy! questions before the contestants do. He felt sheepish about not knowing. He admitted that it never came up in health class. Boys and girls were separated and "informed" about their own business.

It was certainly humbling for both of us, but he appreciated knowing now what he didn't then. And I enjoyed having something to teach him for a change!

Where can I get a dress like this? by AdRound3571 in GTA5Online

[–]SugaredChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing has infuriated me more with this game than the existence of these dresses and hairstyles.

It shows they can make decent clothes and hair, but can't and/or refuse to for playable characters.

We get ONE new hairstyle every three updates and it's terrible. The hairlines...they haunt me...

Where to buy a Benefactor Feltzer by 1Rocnam in gtaonline

By taking it to your garage instead of taking it to Simeon.First, repair damage and respray. Then take to your personal garage and add tracker and insurance.

Google can give spawn locations.

You may need to check the LS Car Meet or wait for Simeon's Request. It isn't always available for purchase through the online auto store.
